    And one more thing, while I agree that Shanley is literally one of the greatest playwrights of our time, he did write Congo, arguably one of the biggest studio pieces-of-shit of all time. And, I agree they could've done without the island ending.

    Also, I'm new to the forum, so in hindsight I probably shouldn't have started this topic in the BAD movies forum. That said, I still want them to do an episode on this classic flic and get into all the juicy details that surround this move, so if anyone out there knows of a better to voice my request to the show, I'm all ears!!!:-) Thanks

    Guys! I'm not shitting on this movie. But, if the name of the show is "how did this get made" Joe V. Volcano to me is a great example of one of those weird off-beat, now-would-be low budget Indie, quirky "art" flicks that for a small window in the 90s managed to have HUGE studio budgets and A-list stars. And, quite frankly I am curious to know "how" did this get made?
