    Now and Then (1995)

    CLASSIC indeed!

    Doctor Detroit (1983)

So accurate. I just tried proving this false by looking through his IMDB page and every example I came across came with a partner or ensemble setup...or he was a minor character and not necessarily funny (but good a la Driving Miss Daisy, Twilight Zone, etc).

The Return of the Living Dead (1985)

Sometimes you forget about the 80s, then you see something goofy like that. Yikes
  4. CaseyRafter

    Sleepwalkers (1992)

    I dunno, but GREAT IMAGE
  5. Just heard the explanation and was about to throw in my "nevermind. asked and answered". Thanks!

Episode 8 — Put Ya Hands In The Air!

Chris Fairbanks is the most adorable old man. I agree with most of his sentiments on the music chart. i also had no idea when the True Grit trailer ended and their skit began, lol.
  7. Ned & Stacey a UK show!? Wasn't it a Fox show?

    Escape From L.A. (1996)

yeah. that happened about a year or so ago. Made me pretty sad but there are other theaters to check out nearby. I sent you a message via earwolf so we can keep the forum more on-topic.

    Escape From L.A. (1996)

I am not but I believe I know an ex-pro skateboarder with my last name who is not (somehow) related to me. We have the same group of friends and, when I discovered his last name, I immediately lost my mind.
  10. I don't recall it specifically but I don't doubt it. When PFT said "No!", I blurt laughed in my otherwise silent office. No one asks anymore. They either understand that I'm a lunatic or that I listen to comedy. I find both of their conclusions accurate and entertaining.
  11. Try listening to it NOW. With GW passing it was even more haunting

    Nightbreed (1990)

I've seen this twice and have no idea what's going on. So bad. Almost too bad to do a full episode on. I feel like Paul would pre-watch this in preparation then on a mini-sode he'd say "guys, I watched it...just no"

    The Fog (2005)

Either version of this film would be a great episode. Schlockola

The Return of the Living Dead (1985)

Fantastic film. It would be so great to hear their take on it. UPVOTE

    Doctor Detroit (1983)

    There was a plot!?

    Caddyshack II (1988)

I don't know about NO redeeming quality. If it weren't for Caddyshack II, I may have never heard of Jackie Mason (in my world, no CSII, no Krusty's dad on simpsons)

    Rover Dangerfield (1991)

I may or may not have seen this while it was in theaters. Great film to make fun of
  18. CaseyRafter

    Sleepwalkers (1992)

Upvote. This movie is iconically terrible. I can't wait for June to forget that she's seen this

    Escape From L.A. (1996)

A few of the suggestions have been done by another film-based podcast (Film Sack, four hosts, a tad nerdier). This is one of those films but the HDTGM guys would have a completely different perspective. Cameo by Bruce Campbell!
  20. CaseyRafter

Gremlins 2: The New Batch (1990)

UPVOTE x1,000,000! Cameo from Leonard Maltin, too!

    Episode 7 — DRUM SOLO!

Freeway Rick Ross had the name first. He served time for trafficking drugs in the 90s but his story (and a believable one) is that he was set up by the feds. He's been on a couple of early Joe Rogan podcast eps explaining what happened to him and even talks about how the rapper Rick Ross tries to steal fame by claiming their histories overlap (and in some cases stealing Freeway's stories). EDIT: HOLY SHIT I LOVE BRODY!!!!!! "The garbage disposal is not disposaling". Also, is that Doug rapping at the end?

Episode 126 — Suicide is Painless

Is the music used for this rap battle (which I've heard in ads before on earwolf, I believe), an instrumental version of the theme music for the tv show Goosebumps? #noonewillseethis #hashtagsdontcountinforums

Episode 6 — You Give Me Fever

Starting years late and from the beginning. What was Kulap's church story?! Seems editted

    Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey (1991)

I always thought that was Argent for some reason. EDIT: oh! it was! in addition to Kiss, who later covered it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QsG5V-o6uxY
