    Omission: What about the scene where Thomas Jane holds a gun to his head as though it were a telephone? Its insane! What if the film is a Jacob's Ladder scenario in which Jane has completed his arc that started with him nearly committing suicide, and ends with him accidentally shooting himself in the head but dreaming that he has saved the world?
