  1. Like you, I've only listened to a couple of episodes of it but it really bothered me that they were getting basic acts wrong about various crimes (admittedly I am hugely biased bc I went to college for criminology) but like the Karla Homolka case, they literally couldn't be arsed to read the wiki page beforehand? They got a bunch of facts wrong in that episode - like basic facts like what city the murders mostly took place in - "I want to say Ottawa? Or maybe Vancouver? Somewhere Canada, though." And as I said it put me off because it's like why bother discussing these crimes (even in a conversational and casual manner) if you are fast and loose with what you're talking about.

    Episode 155 - Airborne: LIVE!

The movie they made up based on "Mitchell became the most popular kid on earth when he took to the air" being about a nerdy kid who goes to space camp and becomes popular when he saves the day in space? That's already a movie and it's called Space Camp and that super nerdy kid? It's Joaquin Phoenix way back when his name was still Leaf.

    Episode 155 - Airborne: LIVE!

Given that this is Mel Gibson's production company, this logo feels vaguely threatening and ominous. Strangely though, at the same time it also feels like it really should be the logo for Paint Shop software for Windows 3.1 and not exist in 2017.

    Episode 155 - Airborne: LIVE!

I genuinely had a hard time following this movie - this felt mind numbing in a very similar way to In the Name of the King: A Dungeon Siege Tale. There were no stakes, there was nothing that really could be considered a plot, they both had tons of way too fucking long montages of random things intercut: Ray Liotta and generic fight scenes or this bootleg Erik von Detton (who is already a bootleg Devon Sawa) and surfing or rollerblading. I fell asleep multiple times, I had to rent it twice. I also don't know what it says about me but this kid was so damn obnoxious when he rollerbladed down those stairs (in one of the multiple stair sequences) and the camera paused for a really long time, I genuinely thought (hoped?) for a minute that he was about to be comically hit by a bus where a super noticeable dummy gets flung 50 feet.
