I love this movie so much it was such a deep part of my childhood for some unknown reason. It just grabbed my soul and held on tight. I must have seen it hundreds of times. I love Alex Winter and in my eyes he can do no wrong. This movie is so so so so so wrong, it's just right. Randy Quaid makes the best redneck freak show owning secret mad scientist working for a huge corporation villian in a film ever. Please do this movie the 12 year old that definitely should not have been watching this movie, needs it so much.

A family is just trying to get to Christmas Eve dinner, but dad takes a shortcut for the first time in 20 years of doing this trip. With this fantastic set-up how could you go wrong. I honestly think it does no wrong. With twists and turns (pun is deeply intended) it's full of all kinds of surprises. I really feel the gang and guest will have a good time with this one and like I said I just really love this movie. Lin Shaye's character goes nuts and that performance alone is worth the 85 min run time. I leave you with this wonderful trailer.

I forgot this was even a thing. I loved this movie as a kid. Jerry O'Connell was the man! What ever happened to that guy? How could they not do a pure 90's movie made by MTV about magic? talking cockroaches.

I love this movie it changed my life. I feel every couple should see this movie. Start out by getting the mood right, be sure to eat a nice hearty meal. Light some candles curl up and enjoy. By the end you will be in opposite corners of the room questioning life and everything you know about female body.
