    RoboCop 3 (1993)

Pretty awful film. I just checked Rotten Tomatoes and it is at a pitiful 4%. Four percent!

    The Lock In

How about reviewing this new gem? It's a Christian horror movie, a found footage film made on a small budget, and the plot is about how reading porn causes demons to possess you. Please consider this turd for a future episode. http://www.thelockinmovie.com/

    RoboCop 3 (1993)

This was made during a period where lots of R-rated movies were popular with kids and they tried to cater to that audience, in the process ruining what made it cool. See also: the Rambo cartoon.

    Nothing But Trouble

So glad they reviewed it. It's one of those movies that just doesn't know what tone in wants to go for. Those confused movies often make for the best reviews on this podcast.

A woman argues that her toaster is haunted. And somehow this was considered serious enough to air on the Today show: http://youtu.be/oiSwnWw65Wo

    Bad Halloween Movies!

Halloween 3 would be great. Nothing but Trouble. Freddy vs. Jason.

    Nothing But Trouble

I recommend 1991's bizarre horror comedy "Nothing but Trouble" starring Demi Moore and Chevy Chase. Directed by Dan Akroyd and I have no idea what he was going for. Enjoy the scenes with Mr. Bonestripper and the performance by Digital Underground.

  10. Oh, and I agree that having 10 podcasts on Skype is not doable. But there are phone options.
  11. Some of the suggestions would require a bit more production/editing time. But what about simply staggering the episode release to a Monday/Wednesday/Friday to give Frank time to edit in clips from previous episodes, etc.? By the way, glad Matt liked my idea of letting all the contestants hearing the coaching session at once.
  12. Any plans to release more episodes? Any extra audio, like the judges debating what to cut? How about a second season?
  13. Scott mentioned he was a guest on one of the 10 podcasts but wasn't even sure which one it was. It was Television Zombies and he was really funny on it.

    Hear Ya Later

I threw together some quick fanart based on Matt Besser's new catch phrase. He suggested I share it on the forums: http://t.co/aJrc6rl

    Suggestions

On this week's show, Matt and Frank talked about how the coaching sessions tend to repeat info because other contestants haven't heard it yet. What about getting all of the contestants, or at least groups of them, on the line all at once but muting whoever is not being interviewed. There isn't really any big secret to what another show might try, is there? Plus, they wouldn't have to wait by the phone/computer wondering when they'd be called.
  18. Interesting how some of these shows manage using Skype better than others, sound-quality-wise.
  19. I thought Matt was really interesting this week. Talking about the Challenge's podcast itself was interesting and he really pushed each of the competitors. Especially Bob and Dan. I thought it was the most interesting coaching session to listen to yet.

    Episode 6.3 — Sketches: Day 3

Did The Fort opt not to write a Last Words blog post? I enjoy those.

    Episode 6.1 — Sketches: Day 1

Thanks for the kind words, today, Matt. Can't wait to hear the submissions tomorrow. Writing a sketch sounds like so much fun.
  23. Our farewell post is up on the Blog section. Thanks to the various folks who've passed along kind words. It feels great.
  24. As a (former) contestant, I understand the thinking behind wanting to bring the judges up to speed on each podcast before the submissions. I'm not sure if it would make a difference, ultimately. The overall submission probably rises and falls even with little to no context. I *do* think that that's what the intro that we put together before each challenge is for, but 15 seconds is possibly too short. I think if we had 30 seconds to explain our show, it might make a small difference. Food for thought for the hopefully inevitable Earwolf Challenge 2.0.
