If you're going to after truly bizzaro horrific movies, why not go after this grandaddy! Green Lantern may have had some poor character development, but it was never used as a recruiting film for the KKK!

Fantastic stuff! There are few straight interview podcasts where the guests seem to enjoy themselves as much as they do on this one. (I also agree that not having a laff-a-minute is not necessarily a bad thing. As Louis CK put in his AV Club interview, comedians who fatten their scripts up with jokes are often insecure about how the piece fits together, and these guys are very secure!) (There was also the implication that there might not be a season 2. A lot of us made it this far, we're loving the show! Season 2! Season 2! Season 2!)

I feel like anyone arguing that the competition was unfair to LHR, could do them an infinitely greater favor by subscribing to their podcast and leaving them a review. That kind of thing lasts longer and all around has better energy than insinuating a conspiracy at an indie podcast network.

You know, thanks to this challenge and this thread I actually discovered, and subsequently got addicted to Walking the Room! So there's that, potential judges! Also, appropriately enough, Bob Ducca is the only podcast on the front page right now with zero comments. Guy just can't catch a break!

It might be kind of neat to let people vote on these next season, a la American Idol or Last Comic Standing. And if you disagree with our votes, you can do the same thing as those two shows and just place the results in the direction where you think they should have went! Would we have been ever the wiser? No, truly we are societal flotsam!

I don't know if it was fair to call LHR's sketch a Borat riff, because while it had references to the character, for me it was about someone's passion project aging to a sad stub when they finally finish it. About desperation. Also, even if they pulled the sketch out of the files an recorded it anew, like Dave Anthony claimed they did, I don't know if that's the worst thing. From what I gather, almost every podcast which relies on guests seems to have a backlog. (But I guess such was not the warrior's call of the "challenge"!) EDIT: I must be the change I want to see in the world, like a Gahndi who just consumes and consumes entertainment. I'll subscribe to Left Handed if I so oppose this! EDIT 2: Actually, seeing as how their sketch was about people working very hard for a long time towards a worthless goal, maybe its much more about Galifinakis "cancelling" on them then it seems on the surface...
