Episode 2 — Sad Robot Music

There exists a struggle between content and delivery where it's almost impossible to find the balance, but when it's had, holy shit, it's great. I guess all music is kind of situational that way. Something that's perfectly horrible can sound perfectly great sometimes. It's all up to mood and biochemical reactions that way, I suppose. You guys know anyone who just sounds like shit, but actually writes lyrics that fuck with you sometimes? thanks and sorry, Sam Sam

    Event Horizon (1997)

I watched this movie with my co-host when we were kids and he's still scared of it. If they do this movie they should have him on. He'll start getting this tremolo in his voice as if he was discussing a legitimate childhood trauma if you bring up this movie. Honestly, like, you can ruin his night by bringing up Event Horizon.... it's the most hilarious kind of PTSD.

    The Gong Show Movie

George Burns, after seeing the movie, went on the record and said, "For the first time in 65 years, I wanted to get out of show business" This is a deep cut bad movie, it's never been released on home video but I have faith that this could happen.
  5. An a capella college group re united to sing and have a wedding, sort of? Also there's an attempted murder suicide that gets brushed off in a matter of hours, and there's a cameo by the bass singer from Rock-a-pella (of Carmen San Diego fame.) I think you guys would kill it on this one
  6. The scene where he uses his computer to make the girl become real and then they have that house party is wicked awesome.
  7. June Raphael came across as hitting on Vanilla Ice, best part of the episode. I'm totally doing a spec script on "Cool as Ice 2: Operation Remodelvation" now. I just don't know if the backers would be ICP or not. ICP funding would be a little intimidating because "Big Money Rustlas" was so fucking great.

    SEGMENTS

There's a bunch of garbage TV shows on Hulu like "Genuine Ken: The Search for America's Best Boyfriend" and some bollywood idol show where half the dudes on it are middle aged IT engineers. There's a show called "In the VIP" which is supposedly a professional league for pickup artists, set in Canada... one of the judges is billed as an "all-star sports inspired master of seduction." God, I wish I fucking made that up. Anyhoo, I don't know if it would be a good segment or maybe something that could be incorporated there, but there's a lot of terrible stuff in the world that's not restricted to movies. In fact, there's a lot of shit out there in all forms of media when you think about it, so maybe a bit that's inclusive of other stuff. Korn has a dubstep album for instance... Either way, it could be something cool to tack into a minisode, a two minute review of something that's really bad in the bridge between intro and setting up the next episode. The minisodes have been getting longer every week anyway so I think it'd be good to set up an extra bit of content in there.
