I thought the same thing! My 5th grade baseball team was sponsored by Whirlyball because the owner's son was on my team; was not expecting to ever hear a reference to that

I thought it was great hearing them talk candidly about making these. I know Scott said they were doing it for the new listeners but as someone who listens every week, it was so cool to hear stories about the eps, and especially to hear PFT break kayfabe about his characters; really makes this a treat for the diehards.

Was the "Sorry!" a reference to something? It was hilarious either way, but the 1st time Scott said it, Gillian reacted to it like she'd heard it before.
