Episode 404 - The Timeys Leap Year Celebration
Poika replied to JulyDiaz's topic in Comedy Bang Bang
I agree with all of your opinions on The Time Master's voice, and will add Bruce to the mix. They did mention Jersey... -
Episode 1802 - Richard Kind
Poika replied to JulyDiaz's topic in Never Not Funny: The Jimmy Pardo Podcast
YES. Exactly the kind of guest I had hoped he'd be. His personality just brightens a place up! -
I also liked that they actually wrapped up 'Who's Charted' properly when it was time for Randruff to leave, and then came back with the Bugle theme. It seemed succinct and well put together. Also, I loved this episode! All moods were good and fun and left me feeling fuzzy and familial afterwards.

Episode 1725 - Cristela Alonzo

Boy is it fun when she's on! Two for two. -
Episode 14 — Staind Glass
Poika replied to JulyDiaz's topic in U Talkin' Talking Heads 2 My Talking Head
Jesus I saw this last night and felt my heart go into my throat wondering why they were re-releasing it. Very glad Todd Glass is still alive! Given the entertainment industry this last month, one can't be too sure. -
Episode 1724 - David Steinberg
Poika replied to JulyDiaz's topic in Never Not Funny: The Jimmy Pardo Podcast
Any fan of comedy owes it to themselves to listen to this episode. When people say, "Never meet your heroes," I'm guessing they never met David Steinberg (but maybe met Jerry Lewis). -
I couldn't get enough of Nate calling Brett "Mustard"!

Episode 221 - Boyfriend Pillow: LIVE from UCBSunset
Poika replied to JulyDiaz's topic in improv4humans with Matt Besser
I subscribed to Seeso and naturally my first watch was Matt's special. Greatest special in the universe! Spoiler alert- there's a certain drummer Earwolf listeners may recognize. -
Ele really does do a great job- between her couple stints here and the one on I4H, it's been an impressive couple months!
-
I loved SBS and it sounded like everyone was having a great time! A real heart warmer landing at the perfect time.

Episode 1719 - Jake Fogelnest
Poika replied to JulyDiaz's topic in Never Not Funny: The Jimmy Pardo Podcast
Not to diminish Aukerman's and PFT's powerful command of ad copy, but I could listen to a whole episode of Jimmy and Matt doing ads. -
Episode 17R - Pat Francis
Poika replied to JulyDiaz's topic in Never Not Funny: The Jimmy Pardo Podcast
Never Not Funny- where I go for my Monday morning "R"im job fix! Seriously though, the pictures of you guys in Mexico really warmed my heart. Your show raised my awareness of Smile Train and turned me into a supporter. -
I thought Ele was awesome- I love that she knew the show. Hopefully Howard will fight the Earwolf Christmas Space Party Power and show up in his beach wear or a shark outfit.

Episode 1715 - Al Jackson
Poika replied to JulyDiaz's topic in Never Not Funny: The Jimmy Pardo Podcast
I don't know if it's a fact, but I always assumed that 'pound sand' came from foundry work where one literally pounds sand. -
Episode 1714 - Matt Walsh
Poika replied to JulyDiaz's topic in Never Not Funny: The Jimmy Pardo Podcast
I wonder if he's been secretly helping with Scott's and PFT's sound effects record. -
Episode 1714 - Matt Walsh
Poika replied to JulyDiaz's topic in Never Not Funny: The Jimmy Pardo Podcast
I'm working my way backwards through the seasons of NNF (I'm back to season 7 now), and have come to love Matt Walsh's nearly regular appearances. His comfort and common background with 'Jim' along with his even keeled and friendly demeanor make for a fun listen. -
Episode 1712 - Wayne Federman
Poika replied to JulyDiaz's topic in Never Not Funny: The Jimmy Pardo Podcast
I loved Jimmy's approach to the elephant in the room (Wayne Federman's promotional podcast blitz!). Wayne is such a good friend of NNF- this was an incredibly fun episode. -
Episode 1711 - Horatio Sanz
Poika replied to JulyDiaz's topic in Never Not Funny: The Jimmy Pardo Podcast
"Well, he sure does yap about it" made me spit out my dentures. I also dug Brain's appreciation at the end of the show! -
Episode 1710 - Todd Barry
Poika replied to JulyDiaz's topic in Never Not Funny: The Jimmy Pardo Podcast
I thought the Jamie Denbo players club episode was a particularly strong episode. At one point I was laughing so hard I had to shut it off! -
I like how Howard is comforting us as Who/Two Charted makes its transition.
-
Shout out to Freeport Ravi from Rockford Poika! I pretty much agree with everyone's assessment of the guest, but I thought those aspects of his personality were what made this episode a fun listen and him an interesting guest. Howard was on his heels a little bit, and it was fun for a change to hear HOWARD trying to rush things along while KU wanted to talk documentaries. Nice to have the gang back together!

I couldn't agree more. It was off the rails, but I found it incredibly fun. Having said that, I admit I begrudgingly love this comment:

Episode 1707 - Pat Francis

Definitely a good one to watch on video! -
Episode 1705 - Eliza Skinner
Poika replied to JulyDiaz's topic in Never Not Funny: The Jimmy Pardo Podcast
Holy shit! Paul Gilmartin mentioned REO Speedwagon on this week's players' club episode! -
Episode 1704 - Larry Miller
Poika replied to JulyDiaz's topic in Never Not Funny: The Jimmy Pardo Podcast
That's actually a good idea- I'll give the video a shot. I did have a lot of expectations going into this one, and that's not the best way to go into a show!
