Episode 241 - Guess the Bigfoot

I bet this'll piss Besser off, but I'm a huge improv4humans fan and a right-wing, nut job Trump supporter. I'm not gonna lie, this year has been great. Also, I've lived long enough to know none of these elections mean jack shit, so relax. We're not voting for king.

    EPISODE 153 — Farewell...For Now

Great to hear Sark back as DM. Some of my fav moments were the introduction of Sir Richard in the submarine and, later on, the funniest role-play of all time - "Does this look infected?"
  3. If you care so much, take UCB classes and join in muthafucka. Or don't listen ya racist.

    Episode 8.2 — Using a Famous Guest: Day 2

I was just listening to this today to hear some more Harris Wittels (though I listened to it at the time and loved it). It's crazy to think this show precedes Matt's improv4humans, and now that's my favorite podcast. I think they should bring this contest back now that Totally Laime is over. Let's get some new blood in there, and let's give The Little Dum Dum Club another chance to reclaim the throne. Ha ha.

    R.I.P. Harris Wittels

One of the funniest people probably no one knew about (until today). Is there any chance at all CBB will do a tribute episode to Harris? He deserves it - I don't care if it's not funny.

EPISODE 174 — Whiplash Ft. Armen

Based on the episode title and having seen Whiplash, I understood that it was a parody (Armen, please correct me if it was in fact a satire) from the beginning. I was impressed how everyone involved somehow improvised a improv version of Whiplash so successfully. Other than weaving in a romantic subplot with Armen and the car crash scene, you really nailed it.

Does Nerd Poker change from early to later podcasts?

Yes, the show changes a bit. Sark created a huge universe of locations, characters and adventures, and Blaine created a "danger room" where he simply throws monsters at the group, and the characters never die. It's still a funny show, but it is very disappointing to me that these new characters never meet a person they can interact with, other than killing them and tracing their dick.

Episode 72 — Heading Down To Glinishmore

I really miss Gerry's contribution to the show, especially since Sir Richard never got to see Glinishmore one more time before his death. If this really is the final boss battle I want to hear him come back from the grave and deliver the death blow to the old man.

Episode 121 — LIVE from SF Sketchfest

Great ep. I recognized Chris's voice from his portrayal of Dum Dum Dugan last time he was on. It blows me away how many improv scenes from this show that I have almost memorized.

    Episode 120 — Wild Horses

I think a more interesting question than "are women as funny as men" is "do men and women find their own gender funnier than the other?" I'm a guy and I tend to find the all male improv4humans episodes funnier than the half men/half women episodes. Do you think women find female comedians funnier/more relatable than male comedians? It seems likely, but I don't know. This episode wasn't one of my favs, but it may be because improv5humans is harder to do than improv4humans. Anyway, I didn't know about Wild Horses before this show. I think I'll check them out live.

Episode 115 — Daniel the Miracle Beagle

I guess I'm in the minority here. Doug's meandering stories were funny to me only in the sense I (plus Matt and his humans, evidently) was laughing at his inability to stop talking. He did the same thing on the VPN episode and it was clear they were laughing at him almost all throughout the phone call. It became grating to me after a few minutes.

Is anyone else liking Damien more than Amarth?

The "does this look infected" gambit is the funniest thing to ever happen on the show. That episode was also awesome in how Sark figured out how to reunite Sir Richard and Mildred with the rest of the crew on board the starship. Damien is great, but I suspect the best is yet to come considering he hasn't yet been tested in battle. I love that Brian seems to put more effort into the roleplaying with Damien.

    Episode 53 — Parn's Village

Great episode as always. I think I have a better idea of what the old man is doing and why the gods (or at least Bahamut) are helping our heroes. It seems like "Lifeboat" is trying to become a deity himself by abducting and replacing all females in the universe with clones that he has absolute power over. The cloned females then give birth to children that he can control. One thing I don't get is that it seems like the destruction of the tower/spaceship (flying into the sun) would release them from his power. That's sort of what happened to Mildred when Stargoyle sucked up her soul fragment and she was released.

Episode 94 — Hands In The Air

Isn't the popcorn scene missing from the audio podcast? I thought they going to release that as a bonus ep.

    Episode 233 — Royal Watching

Congrats to Andy Daly for not having his character kill himself at the end.
