    Pulled episodes, HDTGM

I can understand not wanting to hurt friends. I suppose actors can maybe be a little sensitive, but I can also imagine how improv people want to be very supportive. In any case, I DL my episodes. I have them all.

Which Movies Does HDTGM Absolutely Need To Review?

I only have two movies: 1) Santa's Slay 2) Zardoz

    Zardoz

I wish they could do this movie. It looks classic.

The Man with the Iron Fists

Oh, I hope they do this movie. I think they would enjoy doing it.

The Man with the Iron Fists

I was so surprised that this movie is not listed. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BOXnTZsaMq0 Let me start by listing some credits... Story by: THE RZA Screenplay by: THE RZA Directed by: THE RZA Soundtrack by: THE RZA Starring: THE RZA This Wu Tang Clan member nuthing ta f' with, but he basically pulls a Citizen Cain by writing, directing, and staring in his own kung-fu wet dream. This movie is completely insane, and a joy to watch. It has warrior clans with crazy eyebrows. Warriors with names like Crazy Hippo. The action scenes are so crazy and over the top, stunt workers were getting hurt left and right during the film. Pam Grier plays the RZA's mother. "But," you ask "Does it have Russell Crow fishing anal beads out of a prostitute in a bathtub with his mouth?" Well, I hate to give out spoilers, but maybe this link might be of interest. https://www.youtube....h?v=a51n7OfsZsw I just had a cough. It might be nothing, or it might be cancer. I can't know for sure. But if I were to die I would beg the Make A Wish people to ask HDTGM guys to do this movie. If only to hear Jason Mantzoukas' response to that scene, Please, guys, don't let me down. This movie was a labor of love. The RZA spent two years working on the script. The producers say "imagined every tribe, every fighting style, every costume." The first cut of the film was four hours long! RZA was so disgusted at having to trim down his baby that he stormed out of the editing. I think Orson would be proud.

    Episode 89 — Gooby

My first thought when seeing Gooby was this an alternate title for this movie could be "Pedobear: the Movie". I see that I am not the only one... My second thought was that Gooby and Pennywise from "IT" are basically interchangeable. You can swap them and each movie is no less terrifying. I saw this horror trailer remake. and I wanted to share it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h8b8oXjN9KM

    Chicago Shows?

I would love to see them live in my city! What do you think a good venue would be? The Mayne stage might be good. I saw Marc Maron there for an excellent show. It is a nice sized room and I'm sure they would fill it. It has great sight lines and sound. I know 773 would host them, but their rooms have always seemed small and cramped.

    razzie noms

I have to admit, that Movie 43 made us laugh. I mean, if someone saw that movie and was disappointed, I don't know what movie they thought they were going to see. There are actually two versions of the movie, the US release and the UK release (Yes, saw them both). The US release has a framing device of a movie pitch, where the European version has some kids looking for a mythical internet video.

Why hasn't Aziz Ansari been a guest on the podcast yet?

Aziz doesn't do too many podcasts. It might not be his thing.
  10. I know the HDTGM gang reviews only movies, but I came across an author on amazon that made me wonder "How Did This Get Published." These books were so amazing, so completely bonkers, that I knew I simply had to share it here with the fans of my favorite laugh out loud podcast. I thought many of the book descriptions sound like some of the movies we have watched. Introducing, Carlton Mellick III. A prolific author, who makes up for what he lacks in writing ability with audacity and a willingness to take creative risks. I will not call him a twisted genius, because I think most genius authors still work on a second draft, but his body of work is still impressive to behold. The Haunted Vagina It's difficult to love a woman whose vagina is a gateway to the world of the dead... Steve is madly in love with his eccentric girlfriend, Stacy. Unfortunately, their sex life has been suffering as of late, because Steve is worried about the odd noises that have been coming from Stacy's pubic region. She says that her vagina is haunted. She doesn't think it's that big of a deal. Steve, on the other hand, completely disagrees. When a living corpse climbs out of her during an awkward night of sex, Stacy learns that her vagina is actually a doorway to another world. She persuades Steve to climb inside of her to explore this strange new place. But once inside, Steve finds it difficult to return... especially once he meets an oddly attractive woman named Fig, who lives within the lonely haunted world between Stacy's legs. Tumor Fruit Eight desperate castaways find themselves stranded on a mysterious deserted island. They are surrounded by poisonous blue plants and an ocean made of acid. Ravenous creatures lurk in the toxic jungle. The ghostly sound of crying babies can be heard on the wind. Once they realize the rescue ships aren't coming, the eight castaways must band together in order to survive in this inhospitable environment. But survival might not be possible. The air they breathe is lethal, there is no shelter from the elements, and the only food they have to consume is the colorful squid-shaped tumors that grow from a mentally disturbed woman's body. Cuddly Holocaust Teddy bears, dollies, and little green soldiers-they've all had enough of you. They're sick of being treated like playthings for spoiled little brats. They have no rights, no property, no hope for a future of any kind. You've left them with no other option-in order to be free, they must exterminate the human race. Julie is a human girl undergoing reconstructive surgery in order to become a stuffed animal. Her plan: to infiltrate enemy lines in order to save her family from the toy death camps. But when an army of plushy soldiers invade the underground bunker where she has taken refuge, Julie will be forced to move forward with her plan despite her transformation being not entirely complete. The Faggiest Vampire Deep in The Land of Broodsarrow, just outside the village of Gneirwil, and high on a cliff overlooking the Everbleed Sea, there stands the faggiest gothic castle that any mortal being has ever seen. Living in this ancient faggy castle is none other than the well-renowned vampire, Dargoth Van Gloomfang. The citizenry of Broodsarrow sure has its share of faggy vampires, but old Dargoth has always been by far the faggiest of them all. That is, until a new vampire came to town. A younger, hippper vampire. One that emits such a grand amount of fagginess that one cannot help but be completely overwhelmed by his presence. Now Dargoth Van Gloomfang must figure out a way to out-shine this young newcomer if he wishes to ever reclaim his throne as . . . the faggiest vampire. The Kobold Wizard's Dildo of Enlightenment +2 (an Adventure for 3-6 Players, Levels 2-5) The Kobold Wizard's Dildo of Enlightenment +2 is an comedy about a group of adventurers (elf, halfling, bard, dwarf, assassin, thief) going through an existential crisis after having discovered that they are really just pre-rolled characters living inside of a classic AD&D role playing game. While exploring the ruins of Tardis Keep, these 6 characters must deal with their inept Dungeon Master's retarded imagination and resist their horny teenaged players' commands to have sex with everything in sight. Adolph in Wonderland In an alternate version of the future where Hitler had conquered the entire world during WW2 and developed society into his vision of utopia, an SS officer is on a mission to find and exterminate the last imperfect human on Earth. Following his trail leads the young Nazi to a small town hidden in the middle of the desert, a place that has been cut off from society for so long that it has developed its own strange and disturbing culture. Thus begins Mellick's dreamlike adventure that takes a young descendant of Adolf Hitler's design and sends him down the rabbit hole into a world of imperfection and disorder, where even the laws of reality itself don't seem to apply.

    Santa's Slay (2005)

I see it now. It was suggested in April. I apologize, because I am new, I did not put the right parameters in the search function. I did search, but did not do so correctly. The original posting was one sentence. I hope the additional information I included in my posting is also intriguing.

    Santa's Slay (2005)

I searched the titles and did not see it. Maybe it was my mistake. It should be seriously considered.

    Santa's Slay (2005)

Dear Gang Christmas will be coming up, and I want to recommend one the most wild movies I have ever seen, Santa's Slay. This Christmas horror-comedy stars Jewish WWE wrestler, Goldberg, as a Santa Clause slash Antichrist who terrorizes a small town upon his man eating Hell Deer driven sleigh. There are so many amazing scenes in this movie, it will blow your mind. I wonder about David Steinman, who is the demented genius who apparently wrote and directed this film. I really hope you guys can cover it, because you will have a blast and it will make an excellent Christmas Episode. On Netflix and maybe Youtube. <iframe width="560" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/o57v1nhBS54" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o57v1nhBS54
  14. You have acted out a few scenes in a few episodes. It seems like you have a lot of fun and I find it hilarious. I hope you will consider making this a regular segment, where you can take a favorite scene from the movie you watched and act it out. It might actually go well at the beginning of the episodes, as part of the intro, as it will also introduce the audience to the movie as well. Thank you for all the laughs, I listen to all of pod casts, but HDTGM consistently has me bent over and palirized with laughter.
