    EPISODE 22 - U2 Talk 2 U

Guess I picked the wrong day to stop sniffing glue and listen to podcasts.
  2. Effigy_Power

    We will miss you Harris

This sucks more than many things. I imagine, the person he was, he wouldn't want a bunch of sappy stuff, but mourning a comedian is one of the more emotionally complicated things I can imagine. This sucks. Goodbye, Foam Corner. May your bubbles never pop.
  3. I say potato, you say perennial nightshade tuber. I don't think we'll ever find a name for our food cart.
  4. I don't want to say Harry Potter is based on my life, but my house elf is urging me to pursue legal action.
  5. It's Chinatown, Jake... I really don't think you are going to find a good Sopaipilla Cheesecake anywhere closeby.
  6. If Broadcasters broadcast and Podcasters podcast, why can't I stop thinking about my parents divorcing?
  7. Love the format idea of having rotating hosts, and not just because the chairs spin. Big thumbs up. Maybe Windemere Hankin, Mayor of Television. And that's a big maybe.

    I'm selling my 4ed players handbook 1 and 2

    Now that's just good wizardry.

See? Now you're making sense. On the other hand it would preserve those books for eternity and might leave them as the only literary remains of humankind, thus achieving the opposite of what you wanted. Tricky stuff.

If there's one thing you don't do with books it's burning them. You're a bad wizard!

Episode 47 — The Big Chamber

    Ouch and bravo.

Episode 47 — The Big Chamber

That's certainly a big sort of weird issue in roleplaying, but alleviating that has always been up to DMs. I've had people play good Gnolls and Orcs and Kobolds and I think there's nothing in the rules that says they can't be good. For all the emo, Drizzt is a pretty good example of the fact that characters can overcome an inborn or societal drive towards an evil alignment through their actions. Sure, some beings are doomed to follow their alignment, either because they are basically creatures of evil, like demons, or because they are just thralls to evil powers. But in general it's more of a wash, I think. PS: I am pretty sure I scanned my racist uncle for evil mentally once and he actually flinched. So the houserule seems to work. PSS: Also, Brian's choice is amazing. I can't wait for the interaction between Damian and Sir Richard. I just hope Karen Kilgariff doesn't jump out of a window for him.
  13. That's what I thought too. Maybe it would be a good idea for Earwolf to put up a little wall somewhere with the names of people sponsoring the shows (if they want to be named). That way people feel appreciated even for small donations, since the hosts couldn't possibly read out all of them.
