  1. It was the best day of my life when I found out she was gay and shitting on Paul Hollywood just sealed the deal on my love for her.
  2. Same! I can't remember why I hadn't finished it (maybe just timing as it was on TV when I had to leave or something) but I also remember not being very impressed by the story. Especially in a modern viewing it got reaaalllll tiring just having to watch a married man try and not cheat on her.
  3. Ruby was my favorite winner of the show and when it was announced that he would be following the show to Channel 4 she released her feelings about him on Twitter, and let's just say they were not favorable so ever since I've been salty towards him.

Episode 199 - A Night In Heaven: LIVE!

I fucking haaaaate those shoes! One of the barefoot dudes when I was in college graduated to those at some point and I can confirm is was considerably worse.

Episode 199 - A Night In Heaven: LIVE!

In the home is TOTALLY different than outside the home. My mom would hate it if I would wait to take my shoes off until I got to my room because I would track shit on the carpet. Plus there's an amazing episode of Fresh Off The Boat where they judge white people for wearing shoes inside because of all the germs from outside that then get taken throughout the whole house. I think the thing about white people and no shoes is more for outside because I definitely knew some dudes in college that would walk all around campus without any shoes on and I wouldn't be surprised if they needed at least one tetanus shot during their time there.
  6. I've finished the show itself but I started the Masterclass and honestly I could watch Mary Berry cook stuff for the rest of my life.
  7. Oof this is gonna be a rough watch lol. I'll save the rest of Great British Bake Off for after that so I can have a delightful palette cleanser.
  8. I had to look it up on Netflix cause I couldn't even remember and I literally didn't even finish episode 3 before deciding I needed a break lol.
  9. Seasons 1 and 2 were great at turning those moments into comedy and song, but then season 3 got reeeaaallll and now those moments don't feel as funny anymore. Of course I think that's what makes the show so great. All of these things that were in her head as not being such a big deal are now being seen from the outside and you're like, "Woah..." Holy hell it gets hard to watch though lol.
  10. I still need to finish season 3. The second hand embarrassment was beginning to be too much for me lol.

Episode 199 - A Night In Heaven: LIVE!

It's so interesting how that always happens when certain women guest on the show Also, did they not here her talk about how women DON'T shriek like the way this movie portrayed them?

Episode 199 - A Night In Heaven: LIVE!

Legit I think this episode will go down as one of the greats. The amount of time spent on the beginning of the film had me in tears and battles Sleepaway Camp for funniest time spent on the first scene of the film! Tawney is an amazing All-Star guest and I hope y'all bring her back more if June can't make it! Or hell even if June can make it!

Musical Mondays Week 49 Meet Me in St. Louis

Best BBQ. I've never been down to Lockhart so I can't comment but it's obviously famous for it!

Musical Mondays Week 49 Meet Me in St. Louis

+1 on Mac & Cheese and also potato salad without any onions in it (just a personal texture thing). Salt Lick about half an hour South of Austin is some of the BEST I've ever had!

Musical Mondays Week 49 Meet Me in St. Louis

That's still nothing to Texas BBQ but I'm biased.

    Psycho

Haven't listened to the episode once again... still haven't listened to LotR..... but for myself even knowing the twist ending I still was shocked just by the way it was achieved in the movie. This is really well done and holds the fuck up. It's definitely also one of those movies I wish I could go back in time to see in theaters because I would love to see how people reacted to this for the first time.

Musical Mondays Week 49 Meet Me in St. Louis

Idk Tootie and Agnes would probably be delighted over some trashcan fires in NYC

Musical Mondays Week 49 Meet Me in St. Louis

I genuinely think it has a lot to do with the fact that in St. Louis they are part of the upper class, but in NYC they would be forced to live among others in a tenement and good gracious that is just unacceptable!

Musical Mondays Week 49 Meet Me in St. Louis

I know, I just mean I wasn't even talking about crime at all. It's not a big deal or anything I only wanted to clarify that I meant no matter what the view of the city is gonna be super duper awesome if you're wealthy and white in 1903 lol, and that gets a huge spotlight shined onto it with a modern knowledge of the tension within the city.

Musical Mondays Week 49 Meet Me in St. Louis

My comment was more towards Cam's comment of how he responded to them talking about how great the city is. I have no actual knowledge about any of the actual statistics but considering recent events it sheds a light on how White this movie is and how that obviously skews the vision of the city.

Musical Mondays Week 49 Meet Me in St. Louis

Oh yeah the more they kept talking about how perfect St. Louis was the more I thought "yeah because you're rich and white..."

Musical Mondays Week 49 Meet Me in St. Louis

Sorry I completely missed the discussion y'all (and I'm admittedly going to be one of those people that says they're not gonna go back through multiple pages), but Tootie was in fact the most interesting character in this whole film and it was genuinely like watching a prequel to Halloween. The next movie we see she finds a new mask and her "killing" turns a little too real. It was so wild that no one in her family ever thought to punish either her nor Agnes for the wild extremes they went to.
