    Lucy (2014)

Okay let me start by saying fuck the talks about having an episode on Limitless, because this movie is 10 times as batshit insane. From using Oliver Stone-style cuts to random things like natural disasters and animals fucking to there being almost ZERO plot, this movie would be perfect for the show. I also don't know what they told Scarlet Johansen to do in order to prep for the role, but she comes off has having a mental disorder after ingesting the drug with her role in Her showing more emotional range. What's funnier is the fact this movie is sold on the idea of a person having access to 100% of their brain, but in reality humans DO use 100% of their brain, just not all at the same time. I assume if a person did use 100% of their brain all at once it would look something like this.
  2. My husband starred in this movie with Jeff Fahey and Jonathan Rhys-Davies... It's not very good, but brings a good laugh. Thankfully, my husband is a good sport about it and acknowledges its bad-ness. But he had fun shooting it and doesn't regret the experience. Last I checked, it was free to watch with Prime. Check it out! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mI57XftLAm8&feature=share
  3. Might be the best worst movie ever
  4. No you didn't dream this movie, it actually exists. The Peanut Butter solution is a "family comedy" that scared the shit out of anyone who watched it in the 80s. And that's not just because the entire soundtrack consists of songs by an up-and-coming singer called Celine Dion. Michael loses his hair in a fright at a haunted house, then ghosts tell him to restore his hair with peanut butter. Now the hair won't stop growing. Michael's small asian friend decides to put the peanut butter solution on his balls, family fun ensues. A creepy art teacher then kidnaps Michael to make magic paintbrushes from his hair. Meanwhile, Michael's mother takes off to Australia so his sister takes over the role of mother, dealing with the father's issues and wearing the mother's clothes and shoes. FOR NO REASON. Holy crap I'm going to have nightmares tonight just from writing this. See the trailer here, but don't believe the happiness: http://jezebel.com/5...ilm-of-all-time Watch the full film here: http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-2798924676514781836 Did anyone else have their childhood ruined by this film? It's ok, this is a safe place
  5. This classic Mark Wahlberg, Lou Diamond Phillips, Christina Applegate vehicle is an ideal candidate for the How Did This Get Made treatment. It is hilariously bad, with all kinds of inexplicable writing, directing, and acting choices. It also has a reasonable amount of star power. Perhaps most importantly, despite how terrible it is, it's actually quite entertaining to watch. The Big Hit is a perfect candidate for Paul, Jason, and June Diane to send up. Hell, even if they aren't going to do it, go see it anyways. It's amazing. The trailer can be found here:

    Simon Sez (1999)

Alright, This one Is the reason I joined this forum. Love the podcast, and I think this is pure gold. It's a 90's action comedy ( red flag) with Dane Cook ( red flag) and Dennis Rodman ( red flag!). Cook tries and fails to be Jim Carrey and Dennis Rodman has all the charisma of a piece of parquet, and it's got a villain that seems to be a rejected version of Buster Bluth. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MjJEBQCLbZ8&at=87 What do you guys think? Also, the Dane Cook raptor scene starts at 1:27

    Little Monsters (1989)

parts of this movie scared the shit out of me as a kid. some still do, actually. seems perfect for a HDTGM episode. Starring: Fred Savage, Ben Savage, Howie Mandel, Daniel Stern.
  8. Working on some prop/set graphics here at the office, and reading a script for an upcoming episode of a TV show that may or may not be on a network that rhymes with "LEE VEE ESS". Lookie lookie! The TICK TOCK WOMAN cometh

    New Shirts

Charissa’s TeePublic Store Link HELLO PEOPLE OF EARTH.. I’ve started my own Tee Public store. I’ve got a lot of HDTGM designs. My favorite is featured in the show’s store. It’s a “campaign poster” for our very own June. I did get to read it to her and she took it at the Seattle 2nd show. Take a look and I love suggestions for new shirt ideas! SHIRTS ON SALE!
  10. How has this movie not been suggested yet? For your consideration, a Howard Hughes produced film about one of the greatest empires ever, starring no of any relation to said empire. If you're wondering if this was filmed down wind of a nuclear test site that gave dozens of people cancer, it was. Hughes felt guilty about this and bought the rights of the film and the film was not released until after his death when Universal purchased the rights.
  11. I’ve never felt compelled to post on a message board half way through a film. I need someone break this down for me because I can’t follow what’s going on, it’s making me feel angry, it’s not Meant to, and I don’t care anymore; I just want it to end. I can’t stop it. I’m fully committed. Best case scenario Infall asleep and forget about it when I wake up tomorrow. It’s written as a supernatural mystery “thriller”, acted like a soap opera, lit and shot like a Lifetime movie. Jaime Dornan, Aaron Paul, Molly Parker, Oliver Plat, and the director of Piranha 3-D. IMDB: The story begins on Louis Drax's 9th birthday, when a lifetime of curious mishaps culminates in the boy's near-fatal fall. Desperate to reveal the strange circumstances behind the young boy's accident and dark coincidences that have plagued his entire life, Dr. Allan Pascal (Dornan) is drawn into a thrilling mystery that explores the nature of the sixth sense, testing the boundaries of fantasy and reality.

    Episode 217 - Jaws 3-D

First, the admission. I too, was fascinated by soap opera kissing as a young boy AND practiced on my mom. So Paul, you are not alone!! Well maybe 4 or 5 times until my mom put the brakes on it. Now the omission! Paul, what research were you going to share with us before Jason and June’s ridiculing made you give up? I’m dying to know!

    Iceman (2014)

synopsis: An imperial guard and his three traitorous childhood friends ordered to hunt him down get accidentally buried and kept frozen in time. 400 years later passes and they are defrosted continuing the battle they left behind. Oh boy, where to begin... I immediately thought "what a field day Paul, June, & Jason would have with this movie." There are flashbacks that come out of nowhere, superhuman strength, Krishna's Penis, & crazy long streams of piss (you'll see). It came out in 3D, I didn't watch it in 3D, but I imagine it was silly. I would actually recommend this movie because it's kind of hilarious and has some great fight scenes, but you really need to see it to understand. I watched it because it has Donnie Yen (Ip man). Oh Donnie... It's on Netflix, so you don't need to buy it. HOW DID THIS GET MADEEEEE??? TELL MEEEEE! imdb: ICEMAN
  14. Did you know one of fall's best romantic comedies is named after ChristianMingle.com? ChristianMingle is a love story with some serious soul. Watch the trailer and see why! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EWahCUaWhYk This movie seems like it was MADE for the show.

    Troop Beverly Hills (1989)

Lets face it. Shelley Long taking over her daughters Beverly Hill's girl scout (or whatever) troop only to show them the merits of being a housewife is GARBAGE. Who thought this would be a good movie? I remember this movie playing on tv in the 90's when I was a kid and thinking it was terrible even then.
  16. In an effort to simplify things, I thought I'd start another thread for people to sign up for Musical Mondays. Currently, the rotation is buried in another thread, and I thought it would be nice to have one where it's the first post in the thread and people can easily be added without things getting out of control. Pulled episodes, HDTGM

As I was listening to several old episodes of HDTGM I noticed the Green Lantern episode (14) was missing. I couldn't find any messages regarding why episode 14 is not available. Will someone at Earwolf help me understand what's going on? This is the second episode to be removed (episode 16 - Smurfs, being the first by "reasonable request") and it's making me concerned that this occurrence may become frequent, which would be disappointing and off-putting. I hope to receive a reply soon. Thank you.
  18. Hello, my name is Ryan. I'm not usually the type of person to ask for help or anything of that sort, but at this time in my life I'm in a place I never thought I would be. My fiance just finished a long battle with leukemia, and she just wants to get back in school and be able to finish and move on with our lives. Medical bills are making this borderline impossible and it just seems like it's a never-ending nightmare. Anything you guys can do to help us out would make all the difference in the world. Xchange (2000)

Okay so this movie is like Face Off meets Reindeer Games. Starring Stephen Baldwin, Kyle MacLachlan and Kim Coates. This needs to be an episode, its a classic Virtuosity situation where this is a solid "vision of the future" kind of movie that gets so unnecessary crazy. There is also a weird thing that there are several nude scenes but all the woman are very petite and small breasted. I know it sounds odd to notice but it seemed like a choice by the directer or casting. And thats just the start. Let me repeat Steven Baldwin Imdb describes it as "In the future, where it's faster to travel by exchanging bodies with someone at the destination, a man's body is hijacked by a ruthless terrorist." I repeat, Steven Baldwin, is in this movie and I don't think there has been a HDTGM with Steven, gotta check off another Baldwin for the show. Thank you for your time

  21. JesseGomez

    Troll 2 (1990)

It had a documentary entitled "Best/Worst Movie" directed by the child star of this confusing cult classic. Endless fodder for Paul, June, Jason and guest.
  22. A cinephile latchkey kid obtains a magical movie ticket which transports him into an action movie. There he comes face to face with Arnold Schwarzenegger, his favorite action hero. Halfway through the film, the movie world leaks out into the real world and the fictional character Arnold Schwarzenegger plays has to figure out how to defeat an over the top movie style villain, but with real world rules. This movie involves Danny Devito as an animated cat, Arnold Schwarzenegger playing himself, a trip to a Blockbuster store and Arnold Schwarzenegger having a full-on Buzz Lightyear-esque existential crisis. It's not really a bad movie, but it's definitely ridiculous. Also, it appears you can watch this movie on youtube.
  23. The movie is based on a video game that lets you adjust the jigglyness of womens boobs. DOA is up there with Mario brothers in crap movies. And the last 15 - 20 minutes is freaking nuts

    Downhill Willie (1996)

Downhill Willie is a terrible movie that aged really bad. I think that it is the perfect movie for HDTGM. Just watch the trailer and you'll understand why it should be on the Podcast.
