    Raw Force (1982)

Bo-bo Charles Bronson Bo-bo Bruce Lee Bo-bo...Hitler?! Raw Force (aka Kung Fu Cannibals) is one of the craziest and most thoroughly entertaining exploitation films ever made. It concerns a group of martial artists from the "Burbank Kung Fu Club" who are taking a pleasure cruise to the mysterious Warriors Island, fabled to house the souls of dead martial artists who have lost their honor. Little do they now that a group of slave traders, lead by a man who looks like a chubby Adolf Hitler is in business with the monks of Warriors Island, selling them kidnapped women in exchange for jade. And once he finds out about their cruise's destination, he can't allow them to make it there. This movie is absolute lunacy from beginning to end. It starts out promising an adventure story, but soon turns into an action brawler when there's a Roadhouse-esque bar fight, then turns into a bizarre sex comedy for about 20mins until it segues into a jarringly brutal siege on the cruise ship by fake Hitler's cronies who look like they were rejected from 'The Warriors' movie because they couldn't all agree on a theme for their gang. Finally our main characters make it to Warriors Island for a final showdown with the Hitler gang, come cannibal monks, and an army of zombie ninja and samurai. I've never seen a true exploitation film covered on HDTGM before and it's understandable why. They're usually too easy targets, have too much boring filler between their awesome moments, and are sometimes hard to track down for viewing. But I think Raw Force is a special exception. The film at only 86 min in length is entertaining from start to finish. No boring moments. Even the filler is hilarious. There are so many bonkers moments in this movie, definitely enough to discuss for a full episode. There is dialogue and line delivery so bizarre and out-of-left-field that it breaks your brain. There are light-hearted attempts at comedy followed by scenes of brutal violence. Loads of casual racism and misogyny. And what appears to be a 16 year old kid made up to look like a balding, curly-haired, middle-aged biker (?). Seriously. Watch the trailer, track down this film, and tell the HDTGM crew how incredible it is. Trailer: https://www.youtube....h?v=ju27nZAeqjg
  2. Please do an episode of a movie i loved in the 80's The Last Dragon. Where the main character is called Bruce Leeroy and it has an awesome 80's soundtrack. The only caveat is you will love the movie too much to hate or will you. You can see it for free on crackle.com http://www.crackle.com/c/The_Last_Dragon/The_Last_Dragon/2460332

    Miami Connection (1987)

I just saw this trailer over the weekend and I thought this gem would make a great episode! It was actually made in the 80's but it was never released in America until now. It comes out next Tuesday and they are releasing it on not only dvd and bluray, but also VHS!!! Here's the trailer: what do you guys think?
  4. Discorick

    Silent Rage (1982)

"Science created him. Now Chuck Norris must destroy him. He's an indestructible man fused with powers beyond comprehension. An unstoppable terror who in one final showdown, will push Chuck Norris to his limits. And beyond" Imagine if Chuck Norris showed up to the set of "Halloween" in 1978, roundhouse kicked John Carpenter, and took over as director for the movie. This would more or less be the product that resulted. In all honesty this movie is a pretty unique blend of 80s slasher horror and your run of the mill action/kung fu movie of the day. Also there are mad scientists, a laughable love-montage, an outrageous bar fight that in no way serves the main plot, and an almost comical number of gratuitous boob shots. More people need to see this movie ASAP. (It's free on Amazon with a Shudder trial or subscription) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0084684/
  5. This is a real movie. Youtube just put this up in my recommended videos. This is... wow... just... look: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=drrkyFfVKNo From Wikipedia: "The Clones of Bruce Lee (Korean: 蛇形三傑 Death Penalty on Three Robots, Taiwan複製人李小龍:三龍怒火, Hong Kong: 神威三猛龍) is one of the most notorious exploitation films in cinematic history. It gathers together several of the Lee imitators who sprang up after Bruce Lees death (including Bruce Le and Dragon Lee), as well as performers from the real Lee's films and other veterans of the Hong Kong movie industry. It has been called "The Mount Rushmore of Bruceploitation films". I own some Bruce Le films, but man, I had no idea this was the level of post-Lee death exploitation at some point. Just... wow... I should mention that it's also, somehow, offensive to Brandon Lee (and really, oddly, prescient), because the earliest bad guys' (there are several) ultimate plan to kill Bruce Lee (no.1), after their kung fu assassins fail to do so, is to shoot him while he's a filming a movie... WTF!?!
