    Beach House (1996)

This is really (kind of) bad-good: Brooke Langton (before Melrose Place fame) is a sorority girl that let's three freshmen (one of them is Chris Hardwick) move in with her in the eponymous beach house in Venice because they don't have a place to stay and the semester has long started. Chaos is inevitable. Chris Hardwick turns into a Jim Morrison imitation/reincarnation and it's absolutely not funny or good in any way. Brooke Langton is obviously very beautiful and keeps the whole story kind of together (as far as that is possible). The movie plays all it's genre cards but not very well. The script/dialogues are ludacris I think you just have to see for yourself. Although this must have been a complete flop (maybe not on VHS), there was even a sequel of sorts with two of the main guys (incl. Chris Hardwick) but Brooke Langton wasn't in it as she was already moving up the ladder with Melrose Place. Beach House was a limited release in February 1996 but mostly DTV and is quite hard to find, I saw it on some classic TV channel by chance.
  2. This post has a soundtrack: http://www.anthonypryor.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/02/deathstalker.mp3 Imagine a world where magic, barbarians, amazons, and ninjas are all real. Now imagine that world populated only by porn stars and circus freaks. This is the world our film presents. It has nothing to do with Deathstalker 1, 3, or 4, nor is it any kind of sequel to Barbarian Queen, even though it uses a lot of the same footage. It doesn't even have any titans in it. With great pleasure, I submit for your consideration my favorite sword and sorcery epic/cash grab: DEATHSTALKER 2: DUEL OF THE TITANS Directed by Jim Wynorski (94 directorial credits including such classics as Dinocrock vs. Supergator, The Da Vinci Coed, and The Bare Wench Project 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5) Produced by Frank K. Issac (Beastmaster, Barbarian Queen), Héctor Olivera (The Warrior and the Sorceress, Deathstalker), and Roger Fucking Corman. Please or

Plugs? They Go In Your Butt, Bro!

Where do the plugs go? Well, they travel on a journey never before seen. You place them inside your butt, take them out, and hand them over to Scott! It's THAT EASY.

    My Life in Ruins (2009)

Written by Nia Vardalos, who wrote the hit rom-com My Big Fat Greek Wedding (2002). My Life in Ruins (Driving Aphordite in the UK) has 9% on RT and abysmal reviews. According to Wikipedia, the script was originally written by Mike Reiss (The Simpsons), but was rewritten by Vardalos. I haven't watched it yet, but the trailer is painful - they could barely find a joke in the film to include. Vardalos seems bored in it. It actually has a solid cast including Richard Dreyfuss and Rachel Dratch. It looks like another example of a movie that tries to recreate the success of a previous film with the same writer, producers, etc. but the result is so sad and limp. Has anyone seen it?
  5. No you didn't dream this movie, it actually exists. The Peanut Butter solution is a "family comedy" that scared the shit out of anyone who watched it in the 80s. And that's not just because the entire soundtrack consists of songs by an up-and-coming singer called Celine Dion. Michael loses his hair in a fright at a haunted house, then ghosts tell him to restore his hair with peanut butter. Now the hair won't stop growing. Michael's small asian friend decides to put the peanut butter solution on his balls, family fun ensues. A creepy art teacher then kidnaps Michael to make magic paintbrushes from his hair. Meanwhile, Michael's mother takes off to Australia so his sister takes over the role of mother, dealing with the father's issues and wearing the mother's clothes and shoes. FOR NO REASON. Holy crap I'm going to have nightmares tonight just from writing this. See the trailer here, but don't believe the happiness: http://jezebel.com/5...ilm-of-all-time Watch the full film here: http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-2798924676514781836 Did anyone else have their childhood ruined by this film? It's ok, this is a safe place

    Rat Race (2001)

This movie has to be done. Reasons: Bus full of "Lucys" (WAAAAHHHHHHHHH) Kathy Bates as a squirrel saleswoman Newman and the heart transplant John Cleese's ridiculous bets HELICOPTER ATTACK Attempted murders for virtually no reason other than petty annoyances Narcoleptic Rowan Atkinson The Barbie museum Prairie Doggin' Seth Greens terrorist attack on an airport ...AND SO MUCH MORE FUN FACTS This movie features three Oscar winners.
  7. If the name sounds familiar, it's because it's one of the most imfamous movies of the 1990's. I have to say it's pretty much a definitive title for the question "How Does This Get Made?": It's the movie with the singing and dancing cockroaches. Yes, cockroaches, in all their filthy splendor. And while the budget for the movie was quite modest ($13 Million), it still has oddly competant animation of some highly entertaining cockroaches. What's more, the roaches all have squeaky "Alvin and the Chipmunks"-like voices -- they behave cartoonishly as though it were a children's movie. But this is NOT a movie for kids (it's the first movie release billed under "MTV Films" banner), and you would be a horrible parent to let kids watch this twisted movie, even if it is mostly free of explicit sex and violence. But how could a shitty (literally!) movie about gross cockroaches that dance around like they were in a Busby Berkeley musical be appealing to anyone? Well your answer is this: it made back less than $2 million in the box office, so it was a certafiable bomb. It attained cult film status on home video, and while it is certainly an awful movie, it's still rather silly gross fun, and it will definitely satisfy a morbid curiosity in how crezy an idea for a movie can be, and yet be fully realized into a feature length motion picture and then released in mainstream movie theaters across the country. Also, seeing as how it stars Jerry O'Connell, who has been a guest on Comedy Death Ray, perhaps you guys can get him in the studio to explain what the hell he was thinking. Anyway, "Joe's Apartment" is my nomination. Love the show, and I'm looking forward to more eps!

    That's My Boy (2012)

That's My Boy is, to this day, the most awkward Adam Sandler movie I've seen in a theater. It seems that making an R-rated script gives Sandler the license to be more loud and obnoxious than any of the Real Housewives or Jersey Shores casts. Add to that the initial plot of a student-teacher affair producing a kid is not the most outrageous thing in this movie (Incest scene, I'm talking to you), Sandler being out-funnied by Vanilla Ice and Todd Bridges, and you have a movie that will literally put you in a daze as it did me walking out of the theater. It does beg the question of HDTGM?

    Shanghai Surprise (1986)

The title alone is pretty fuckin' ridiculous(and could be seen as somewhat racist), but hold onto your assholes, it gets worse. It stars Sean Penn and the dark succubus known as "Madonna" as star crossed lovers in Shanghai(let that marinate for a moment). He's a treasure hunter, she's a nurse seeking the healing powers of opium for her patients(yes, that is the actual synopsis). It cost 17 million dollars, and only grossed 2.7 million, and Madonna won worst actress at the razzies. The trailer:

    The FP (2011)

Judging by the first 10 minutes of The FP this ridiculous satire would be perfect for the podcast. It revolves around a gang war fought through a knockoff acrcade game in the style of Dance Dance Revolution.

    Iceman (2014)

synopsis: An imperial guard and his three traitorous childhood friends ordered to hunt him down get accidentally buried and kept frozen in time. 400 years later passes and they are defrosted continuing the battle they left behind. Oh boy, where to begin... I immediately thought "what a field day Paul, June, & Jason would have with this movie." There are flashbacks that come out of nowhere, superhuman strength, Krishna's Penis, & crazy long streams of piss (you'll see). It came out in 3D, I didn't watch it in 3D, but I imagine it was silly. I would actually recommend this movie because it's kind of hilarious and has some great fight scenes, but you really need to see it to understand. I watched it because it has Donnie Yen (Ip man). Oh Donnie... It's on Netflix, so you don't need to buy it. HOW DID THIS GET MADEEEEE??? TELL MEEEEE! imdb: ICEMAN

    Troll 2 (1990)

It had a documentary entitled "Best/Worst Movie" directed by the child star of this confusing cult classic. Endless fodder for Paul, June, Jason and guest.

    Wishmaster (1997)

I'm a big fan of bad movies but I do draw the line with absolute nonsensical plots, no budget and unwatchable actors (and this is in reference to Thankskilling quality movies). I love anything Steve Reimi, Kurtzman or Wes Cravin which gave me the appreciation for this movie that I really hope you guys check out -- its called "The Wishmaster" by Robert Kurtzman. You can find it Free on FEARNET on demand. Seriously, please watch this. In a nutshell - a demon from hell grants peoples wishes, but of course there is an evil (and ridiculous) catch to his generosity which is: yes the wish may be granted but only in a hurtful manner. Non-movie related example: A person would ask the Wishmaster to become famous, loved and a pleasure for everyone to see. The devil would grant the request but the twist is that the person will be turned into a painting and be showed off in a museum or something. Throughout the movie people are getting duped by this guy. Alongside "great" special effects, late 90s attire, desperate (but perfect acting) and overall a great ride, this is one movie that you do not want to miss. Luckily for us fans, there are 3 Wishmaster movies to enjoy. So far I have only seen the 1st but I am eager to catch the rest. Get some friends together and have fun watching this movie. It is a blast from the very first scene. Thank you!

Just putting this one out there. I remember it being in theaters, but have yet to see it (will soon, it's on the Encore schedule), but I wanted to throw it out there since Stallone will soon become king of HDTGM: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d6UNQB1Lo1s
