Indie comic darling Eugene Mirman visits the calming shores to talk about the first time he met Randy & Jason in New York, opening for bands such as The Shins, and moving to America from Russia at the age of 4. He also tells us about how the Eugene Mirman Comedy Festival started as a joke, explains water boarding during a round of Quick Hits, and has the craziest walking with Michael Stipe at a Mexican music festival story ever. You have to tune in to hear it!!! Plus, our resident Fantasy-ologist Jesse Thorn is here to get us ready for Super Bowl Sunday by giving us some tips for picking last minute dips and sauces.

Hey, did you guys choose the wrong edit to upload? It kind of sounds like the Sklars wanted to make some edit points in the beginning.

I kind of like listening to the rough, unedited cut. It's like an accidental trip BEHIND THE SCENES.

I was at that Flight of the Conchords show in Boston, remember Eugene wasn't even on the bill (they only listed Kristen), so it was a great surprise when he popped up on stage.

I agree with Greatbob. I'm a freak who enjoys seeing how the Sklarsage is made.
