Comedy legend Adam McKay stops by the calming shores for the first time on today's Sklarbro Country! Adam teases a gag from his highly anticipated sequel Anchorman: The Legend Continues, talks about how the original film came together and details his career in comedy all the way from his humble beginnings at Second City in Chicago where he was a founding member of the elite comedy powerhouse Upright Citizens Brigade. His time spent writing for SNL is discussed before Randy and Jason steer the conversation towards all things sports including musings on fan loyalty, AND 1 compilation videotapes and the New York Knicks, including Adam's connection to one of the greatest playoff moments of all time. After a spirited round of Quick Hits, a very special guest (or rather "worm") stops by the studio to talk about his career in the NBA and sing some Macklemore. Citizens of Arizona, come see Randy & Jason perform stand-up at the Tempe Improv on Thursday, August 15th through Saturday August 17th! Get your tickets at www.tempeimprov.comhttp://www.tempeimprov.com. Click here and also here to watch the videos discussed during the episode.

McKay was right, LJ's 4 point play led to him praising Allah in an interview after the game.

That was an amazing game.

Loved the Canseco story.

Doug Benson and the Sklars have both mentioned slow ticket sales in Tempe for recent/upcoming shows. Fuck Tempe.

Summer + No college kids.

70,000 people go to ASU including part timers.
Nobody wants to be around Phoenix in summer so I'm assuming most that can leave for summer do leave.

Rodman interview was great; second favorite end of the show celebrity behind Wahlberg.
