You are all in for a treat next week because we’re watching Cindy Crawford & William Baldwin in 1995’s Fair Game! Paul also goes through some Corrections & Omissions for Daredevil, explains why you shouldn’t trust a penguin while answering your Qs, and reads the winning submissions for last week’s Movie Title Game. Don’t forget to submit your HDTGM T-shirt designs over at the Earwolf forums! Also, be sure to get tickets for Paul’s Christmas Spectacular and a LIVE Holiday edition of How Did This Get Made? at Largo in Los Angeles on December 12th & 13th! And make sure to see June’s movie Ass Backwards in theaters now!

The trailer for this movie is action cliche heaven.
"I don't know how to use a gun"
"It's the same as a camera; point and shoot."
-----
"What the hell is going on?!! Someone knows every move we make!"
-----
"Why should I trust you?"
"I didn't shoot you yet."
"Yet???"
"The night's young."
CLASSIC!!!!

We obviously need to step up our Earwolf donations as Paul is now being forced to record episodes in truckstop bathrooms.

Billy Baldwin whispering to himself: "KGB. Computers. They found the safe house. How did they find the safe house?"
Does movie dialogue get any better?

We got another Razzie nominee on our hands! This film was nominated for three trophies, all for Cindy Crawford. It earned nods for Worst Actress, Worst New Star and Worst Screen Couple for Crawford and William Baldwin, but lost in all these categories to Showgirls, which dominated that year.
I looked into the film's IMDb trivia page where I later posted it onto its Wikipedia page, that apparently Fair Game underwent some reshoots and reedits, like that Elizabeth Pena was originally playing Salma Hayek's character, but when test audiences thought that she didn't seem right for the role, she got fired and Hayek signed on to replace her. Another fact is that Dan Hedaya had a bigger part in the original version, but was reduced to just one scene earlier in the movie, and Hedaya eventually took his name off the credits based on that result.

I'm sort of wondering how much they had to pay Crawford to go topless in this movie, since she was still pretty big in the modeling world and this was her first real acting role.

I think he may have. Then he stabs her again...in the kidney? By that point in the movie I was just like, "whatever to this thing."
Some other notes I made:
No one in this movie obeys traffic laws. They drive like vehicles are a foreign concept.
I love this police station set.
The soundtrack in this movie really made me feel like it could turn into a soft-core porno at any moment, and then it kind of did so I guess it's appropriately scored?
Does this movie happen over one day or two days?
Am I the only person who thinks William and Cindy grinding in a train car is repulsive?
Does this movie like women or hate them?

The amount of sexist comments directed at Cindy in this movie is insane.

So, at some point, a real person who is alive actually said, "this movie needs more room for William Baldwin. Let's cut Dan Hedaya's part down to make room for that"? Ugh, humanity is terrible.
