I hadn't heard of the Doug Loves Movies challenge before this year but I had always wanted to average a movie a day before. I think I'd normally top out in the mid 200s somewhere. This year I logged 432 movies on letterboxd. I count 45 movies I had seen before for a total of 387 movies. I also watched 130 movies from 2017.

My favorite discoveries (of old movies) were The Human Condition trilogy, A Face In The Crowd and the works of Powell & Pressburger. My biggest disappointment (for an old movie) was probably Phantom India.

I've started my DLM challenge for this year, since I spent 2017 catching up on TV shows and binging ones I wanted to see but couldn't because of my 2016 DLM challenge. So far two new ones in the can, and both fairly bad (Galaxina and Bad Kids of Crestview Academy).
2018 DLM Challenge: 219 movies (189 new) https://letterboxd.c...vies-challenge/
2016 DLM Challenge: 618 movies (478 new)
