Episode 30 — I Heal With My Steel

Recommended Posts

Andy Kindler is one of the best in the business, skilled at mauling the mediocre and skewering the sub-par, but is he any match against Mr. Popper's Penguins and Pitbull? Yes. Moving on. We visit U.S. iTunes for a look at their top singles before finding our way to the cinema and eventually to the pub for a round of darts. Fans of Andy surely won't be surprised by his views on The Zookeeper or his impression of Brody Stevens, but you might not guess his opinion of Russell Brand or feelings for Adele. Be sure to visit Earwolf to hear the July 4th Birthday chart and to submit your entries in the I Heal with My Steel Video Contest.

Andy was super funny this episode. Was he dancing to all of the songs in the first chart? Makes me wish there was some video!

Between Aimee last week and Kindler this week (who have worked together), you guys have been nailing it.
I have laughed like 6 times (outloud @ the gym) so far. I love Andy Kindler. Great guy, cool wife. I live next door to him (wink).

The "Download MP3" button hasn't worked for me for the last couple Who Charteds, I just get a soundcloud page not found page. I can still listen on the page but I like saving them! Thanks, have a summah!

Love the show! The bonus chart isn't on the page for this episode, though. Just a heads up. Keep it real. One love. Peace in the Middle East

Odd how no one seems to have read MR. POPPER'S PENGUINS, the novel, as a kid. (Well, I never read it, either, somehow, but I knew it was around.) I hope no one' s pretending that we didn't know what the Thing was in SUPER 8.

I'm just surprised that the Katy Perry parody song actually sounded catchy. Young millionaires be hatin'.

As always, a good show, folks. Thanks.

Sorry, I didn't catch that the bonus chart was added to the end of the main clip seamlessly this time. Nevermind!

Calvin Coolidge's campaign actually did use "Keep Cool with Coolidge" as a campaign slogan...and was one of a string of unimpressive Republican presidents (after the obese one, William Howard Taft, who came in third behind Woodrow Wilson and Theodore Roosevelt running as the Progressive Party candidate in his re-election campaign in 1912, and another go-to lousy, scandal-ridden president, Warren Harding). If Obama had ever been a progressive, and had even lived up to his one progressive pledge that differentiated him in policy statement from Rodham Clinton, ending the wars, I suspect more progressives would be happier with him as anything but an improvement over the last lousy, scandal-ridden Republican president...

Taft, who did a little better in 1912 than the Socialist Party candidate, the labor-movement hero Eugene V. Debs, but not much better (about 3 million GOP votes, a little less than a million SP votes), ended up on the Supreme Court. And, of course, Coolidge and not his campaign was one of the string of unimpressive Republican presidents in the years between Lincoln and...well, since Lincoln (and Lincoln definitely had some overly pragmatic downsides, such as, obviously, abolishing slavery initially only in the states that had succeeded from the US already--the wartime suspension of important rights being another...a hardy tradition).

God Bless you Howard and Kulap!! Who Charted is one of the best shows on Earwolf, and having Andy Kindler on was a very welcome treat. Truly one of the funniest comedians of all time. Wednesday is quickly becoming my new favorite day, cause a new ep of HC is droppin'! Woot!!

Kindler can do no wrong! I was trying so hard not to bust out laughing on my train commute this morning. Great show, as always!

Andy Kindler is so funny. He killed it this show.

As much as I like comic books and Green Lantern, the movie stunk. Kulap should definitely skip it since she doesn't even like the character. I went in with low expectations and it didn't manage to meet even them. I am looking forward to Captain America though!

Great show as always.

This was the first time I ever had to stop what I was doing at the lab I work in because I was laughing so much. So, Who Charted: May Cause Chemical Burns.
