This film was by far one of the strangest films I've seen with Crispin Glover's over-the-top performance, Dennis Hopper's sex doll not to mention Keanu Reeves and the plot.  The strangest thing is how well reviewed this film with a 7.1 on IMDb and an 86% on Rotten Tomatoes - but it does seem to have been lost to time.  Maybe I'm in the minority but I found it a pretty hilarious watch and thought it would make a great episode.

Rivers Edge is indeed strange but it’s a Thank God This Got Made. It’s based on a true story and features incredible performances by Crispin Glover and Dennis Hopper.  As it was Keanu’s first major role, it will never be lost to time.  In fact, the cast is uniformly awesome: Ione Skye, Roxanne Zal, Daniel Roebuck and the little brother from Teen Witch!!
