I could say a lot of things about this movie. But you really need to just watch the trailer. It's free on YouTube.

Holy shit just watched this on Prime and this has to be done. I think the entire budget went to renting the Rolles used to hit Breen, because they couldn't even use a sound clip of sirens longer than three seconds before it had to be replayed. Is this guy like James Nguyen or Tommy Wiseau in that he secretly had a crapton of money or made a bunch of money and decided to be a movie star?

I saw this at Alamo Drafthouse when it was initially released in theaters. Somehow, this is even crazier than I originally imagined. Also, I am legitimately surprised that its only an hour and a half long. I felt like I was in that movie theater for days.

I watched Fateful Findings, The Room, and Birdemic in one day. Fateful Findings was easily the worst and the most entertaining. I couldn't stop laughing. I'd love to hear this movie get covered.

I think I can say without a shadow of doubt that Tommy Wiseau is Hitchcock compared to the director of this thing. Birdemic is better made than this movie. I am not kidding. You have to see this thing. The ending alone makes this thing worth it. I can not say in words just how incompetent the film making is. The editing is so bad that none of the scenes fit together at all. This is one of the best/worst movies ever.

Watching this now. Had to come post about it. Glad i wasn't the only one to see it. For those who haven't, it's totally in The Room/Birdemic/Troll 2 arena. The opening scene has a completely unexplained magic mushroom (literally) and the second scene has a completely one sided phone call that words simply cannot do justice. It's like The Room's flower shop scene but as a phone call.

I'm gonna go continue watching it, but I can already say it's totally HDTGM worthy. To answer the months old question about Breen having a bunch of money, yeah, movies are his second job and he's also a pretty successful architect in Vegas.

I think we had a Neil Breen thread already but I'll say it again: although Fateful Findings is very entertaining for bad movie enthusiasts, I don't think it would be a good episode for the podcast. It's totally incompetent in every possible way, with none of the charm of Tommy Wisseau. Literally every single choice made in Fateful Findings -- whether it's dialog, acting, cinematography, sound design, or writing -- makes no sense, full stop. There is barely any continuity from one shot to the next, much less from scene to scene.

It's so obviously one man's vanity project, but made with no money and less skill than even Birdemic. What do you say about it? Everything is shitty and incomprehensible in it for every single second. I honestly don't think there's a lot to say beyond "that was bonkers".

Oh I could think of a ton of shit to say about this piece of garbage.

Like what? Everything you can say amounts to "Wow, that made no sense. Why is this happening?" while describing what is on screen. I guess I feel like this would be punching way down below your weight class. It's not even shooting fish in a barrel, it's like making a bazooka out of fish and using it to shoot skyscrapers made of fish.

I could talk for 20 minutes about the sex scene where paper keeps appearing on the table for the sole purpose of them throwing it into the air for no reason.

I could talk about the fact I'm pretty sure Emily is a Russian mail-order bride.

I could talk about the other sex scene in the shower.

I could talk about the stepdaughter, for whom every action is bonkers.

I could talk about the suicide.

I could talk about the suicide.

I could talk about the suicide.

I could talk about the suicide.

I could talk about the suicide.

I could talk about the OTHER FUCKING SUICIDE.

there's so much to talk about. just go scene by scene.

That's my point though. Pretty much all you can do is describe the movie and say "that was weird"; next scene, "this didn't make sense either", repeat. Everything is nonsensical and bad in it, in a charmless way that is kind of immune to scrutiny due to its cheapness and incompetence.

This movie has to be seen to be believed... it is truly the pinnacle of the HDTGM genre. Picture The Room, but with inexplicable supernatural events and even more wooden acting. It's miraculous.

100% this movie has to be done on HDTGM! I can’t believe they haven’t done any Neil Breen on the podcast yet. It’s criminal.

A Fateful Findings episode would be fun as hell.  The only slight obstacle is that I doubt there are any sincere 5 star reviews for the Second Opinions segment.

Just finished watching this after starting last night and going to bed with about 20 minutes left. Holy shit, what an awful movie. Jason and June are going to lose their damn minds. Now if you'll excuse me, I am going to hack all of the government systems, on my own and outside of the establishment, to release the truth to the world.

This is our movie for the first Seattle showing. Anybody know how to see this without buying it from Neil Breen himself for $25?

I’m in the same boat. It’s not available on any streaming service or from the library. You can watch chunks of the movie or the entire thing with someone’s commentary over it on YouTube.

It is apparently available to watch for free on Pornhub according to the HDTGM posting. My 100% genuine question is if I watch this on a computer/phone, will I get burnt with a digital virus? I have no idea how safe/reliable pornhub is.

has anyone actually done it and remained clean? Show of hands, please!

I have another genuine question brought up because of these posts (and maybe other posts have mentioned it but I haven’t seen them).

How many suicides are there in the film and how graphic are they? I’m asking because I have tix with a friend but they might not want to come—or at least not watch the film—if it depicts suicide in a graphic/exploitative  way. I love HDTGM, but I don’t want a fun night to turn into a triggering experience for my friend. The film looks like a fucking inept shitshow from the preview, so I doubt it would provoke distress, but still, if I can avoid discomfort...

I REALLY would appreciate an answer to this from someone. Please and thank you.

P.S. Feel free to spoil away. I truly don’t give a shit!
