    Episode 184.5 - Minisode 184.5

Two overly familiar tropes appear in this movie early on: When Johnny shows up for his initial upload he is told "You're late!", and then when the Yakuza bad guy reports to his boss, he is told "You're late." I find this noteworthy for the staggering amount of times this happens in terrible movies, and even mediocre ones.
  2. Remember that old lady who got hit by the car outside the village? What happened to the driver of that car?
  3. Best line from the movie: "One man's dream is another man's lunch."

    Episode 166 - Timecop: LIVE!

Doesn't it seem like very little actually happens? The action scenes seem to last forever, especially the climactic battle, which feels like one third of the friggin' movie. Also, this movie would have been awesome with Kurt Russel. But how about: Bruce Willis? Mickey Rourke? Nic Cage??

Episode 161 - The Fate of the Furious

Doesn't it seem like Paul should have read second opinions of those who hated the movie since the gang clearly loved it?
  6. I was surprised the gang never touched on the fact that Katana kept making modern references and using modern language even though he was from several hundred years prior.

    Episode 150 - Grease 2

Wasn't there a scene where the T-Birds decided they needed to go some place where the chicks "put out?" and then they get on their bikes but never actually get there? Or did they actually get there and I missed it?
  8. One thing not touched on was: How was everyone just able to walk in and use the lab whenever they felt like? Also, I would agree that Emily's incessant laughing was distracting. There are a few PodCasts that I have stopped listening to because the hosts crack up constantly. Thankfully HDTGM is not usually one of those.

    Episode 77: SEVEN

What is often overlooked in discussing Se7en is that it lacks a great script. For a movie that attempts to be deep and philosophical and cerebral, one would at least expect John Doe to say something to enlighten us.

    Jack and Jill (2011)

Would love to hear the gang talk about this terrible movie. Or almost any Adam Sandler movie.
