    Episode β€” Earwolf Challenge Epilogue

Hey guys, it's Frank! I just read through all of this stuff, and you know what? Wow! . @Dirk, you are absolutely right. A forum is a place for haters and lovers alike to type their thoughts away from the quiet, safe, anonymous safety of their house/apartment/basement. However, I'm going to contend the self-description of your posts being "constructive criticism". Normally I let the stuff that's said here in the forum just roll off my back; it truly doesn't bother me. I believe this is for two reasons: 1) most of the criticism isn't about me, and 2) I am a member of Generation Z (or whatever you call our shitty generation); meaning that I grew up on a computer and I know what kind of "power" people feel they wield when they can anonymously slander others. . Like I said, most of the time I don't let this shit bother me. It's petty and stupid. But @Dirk, I have never seen such gross use of exaggeration or insinuation used by anyone else on these forums. The reason you bother us is not because you're right, or you're really "sticking it in our craw" or that you wound us on any personal level. The reason you bother us is because you have no idea what you're talking about. Your claims are unsupported and have no grounds, your opinions and insinuations are uniformed and fabricated, and your rhetoric is just ATROCIOUS. . Look, life is short, and to continue this back and forth bullshit through words is time-consuming and stupid. @Dirk, if you're still really pissed (even though you claim that you're not and that "you probably won't even check back on these forums anymore") I'm sure Matt would still be willing to get on the phone with you and hear you out. If not, I'm sure we could set up a time for you to sit down and get some coffee or something. Just do me a favor and stop talking about this show like you know what you're talking about. You weren't there, you have no idea how we did things and you have no leave to speak with the feigned authority that you love so much. Because I was there, and I know that we worked our HARDEST to make this show something special, fun, entertaining, exciting and FAIR. We've already owned up to the things we messed up, so I do not know what point you are still trying to make. . With love and tenderness, Frank . P.S. Leave Shahruz out of this. The dude single-handedly programs everything that has to do with Earwolf. I know nothing about computer programming, but I know that Shahruz could write code in circles around you. And I'm basing that solely off of how ignorant you've come off in your many forum posts.

    Episode 6.1 β€” Sketches: Day 1

Since I was in the room with Matt during the recording of this episode, I think I have a good idea of where his beef towards meta-sketches come from. From what I gathered, it seems that "going meta" has sort of become a staple of a lot of modern comedy-- within sketch, improv and stand-up; and more so, has become a staple of younger comedians. I think Matt was saying he's seen A LOT of meta-sketches within the last few years; and more importantly, a lot of unfunny meta-sketches. Matt was just wary of one of the podcasts making that choice because it's the easier choice than writing a regular old sketch. Seeing as how in most meta-sketches the people acting in the sketch more often than not choose to play themselves rather than create characters, which can be construed as an easier choice. I guess in Matt's eyes he needs to know that you can execute a traditional sketch well before you can go meta on us. Just my two cents.

    Episode 15.5 β€” Minisode 16

She lightly smurfed my swollen, erect smurf. I gently slid two smurfs into her tight, moist smurf. I smurfed her a little too hard and she started smurfing all over the bed. She finished me off by swallowing my smurf. Then I took a nap.

Episode 2.1 β€” Theme and Intro: Day 1

Sean - Thanks for liking the theme! It was written by the guy who wrote the "Monday Night Football" theme music, Johnny Pearson. Zach - You're totally right. I even made sure to double check that there were in fact nine circles in Dante's Inferno; just forgot about that whole frozen Lucifer/Judas/Brutus/Cassius thing. Thanks guys!

Thanks, everyone! Glad you're all enjoying it. This show is about five months in the making and I can't believe it's already released. Glad it's not shitty!

  7. We’re back for another week on Who Charted? and this week we have a guest who has just recently topped the charts as one half of Garfunkel & Oates: Kate Micucci! Kate tries her hand at Chart Roulette and discusses the movie chart in addition to helping us through our first ever college radio chart. What more could you want from the sweetest girl in all of comedy? Maybe a bonus cable television ratings chart? Well, since you asked so nicely, you can find that online at Earwolf.com where you can also submit your entries in the I Heal With My Steel video contest!

    Episode 8 - Evolution

How did the human race come about? It's a hilarious riddle, we know, but it is also the topic of much debate. Whether you call it evolution, survival of the fittest, or natural selection we are here to talk about it with Dr. Martin Cohen from California State University Northridge. Hear the gang wax poetic over the important scientific conundrums of ugly people's existence and the embarrassing nature of pooping. And just for good measure, we threw an Emo Philips joke in to keep the comedy alive.
