    Episode 97 — Rhinestone: LIVE!

I was just scrolling through to see if anyone had mentioned this clip yet. Real-life Stalone is completely normal, and charming, and funny, which only makes on-screen Stalone seem that much more insane.

    Dreamcatcher (2003)

I defy anyone to read the following description and not immediately abandon all other recommendations and jump on the Dreamcatcher bandwagon: "Jonesy (Damian Lewis), Henry (Thomas Jane), Pete (Timothy Olyphant), and Beaver (Jason Lee) were four friends who, as schoolboys, rescued a boy with Down's Syndrome, Duddits (Donnie Wahlberg), from a savage beating at the hands of bullies. Their experience with Duddits left the boys profoundly changed, as they discovered they had developed psychic powers which allowed them to wordlessly communicate with one another, read the minds of others, and see events in the future. The four remained close friends into adulthood, and meet every year for a weekend get-together at a remote hunting lodge. However, one year Jonsey is approached by the spirit of Duddits, which leads him into a severe auto accident, though his wounds heal with mysterious speed and are gone by the time he and the guys get together a few months later. As the guys drink and swap stories, a desperately ill hunter makes his way into the cabin, whose body has become the host for a horrible wormlike creature, which breaks free and soon goes on a killing spree, leaving only Henry alive. In the wake of this attack comes a massive snowstorm, and Henry learns that these events are the first signs of a major attack by a powerful alien force which can assume any form it wishes. As duplicitous military leader Col. Abraham Curtis (Morgan Freeman) comes in to quell the menace, Henry finds himself in communication with the late Jonsey, whose previous near-death experience gives him an unexpected advantage in stemming the alien tide." You could make an episode from the description alone. Seriously, what is going on? Why is this not happening? Every time a new episode is announced and it's not Dreamcatcher, I am literally dumbfounded.
  3. FUN FACT! Jason mentioned having a thing for the twins from "Double Trouble". One of them - Liz Sagal - was a member of The Cherry Bombs, the fictional band in Howard the Duck. BORING FACT! The are also the younger sisters of Katey Sagal.

Submit your HDTGM T-Shirt Designs HERE!

You could get them done from an online printer like this one ( http://www.ooshirts.com/ )for about 6 bucks each. That's on a Gildan shirt and includes set up and free shipping. You won't get much cheaper than that unless you print them yourself, and even then by the time you buy the blank shirts, have them shipped to you buy all the supplies, etc. you still might not save that much by doing it yourself. I'm not trying to sway anyone one way or the other, just my 2 cents, and I've done it both ways.

I knew I wouldn't be done with this by the deadline, but I was having a lot of fun doing it, so I figured I might as well finish. The text is hard to read on here, but basically it contains at least one funny or insane question from each of the 75 HDTGM episodes, culminating in the ultimate title question there at the end. Some of them are just funny within the context of the show. Some are funnier out of context. There are questions from Paul, June and Jason as well as some from guests and some from audience members at the live shows. It's a lot of fun reading through them and trying to remember which episode they're from. I had fun, anyway. It was totally worth it, even though I missed the deadline.

This is really similar to something I was working on ( I was doing a text wrap type of thing using quotes from the podcast). I don't think I'll have time to finish it before the deadline, though. Great job on the design. In my opinion, I think it would look better on a shirt if you got rid of the "HDTGM?" all together. The design is kind of an inside joke between the fans, so for anyone who "gets it" the initials aren't necessary. And, for anyone who doesn't, they're not to going to know what they stand for anyway. To me the initials are just sort of floating down there and don't feel like part of the design. Plus, if you got rid of it, the rest of the design could be bigger. Again, just my opinion.I'm sure others will probably disagree, and I think it looks great either way.

    SEGMENTS

You can usually tell if a movie is going to be HDTGM material just by watching the trailer...or can you? how about a segment where you take a trailer for a soon-to-be-released movie and make predictions about how awful it is going to be, how well or poorly it will do in theaters, what you think will happen in the movie, etc. Then, after seeing the movie, revisit it on a later episode and see how accurate your predictions were.

Submit your new HDTGM logo here!

I have submitted a few of these myself, and I have to say, Doom-la-loon's is my favorite by far. I'm not sure how it would come across as a logo, but as a piece of art it is badass.

Episode 51 — Liz and Dick

The funniest part of this episode was when Drew apologized to Jason for cutting him off. He's obviously not familiar with the format.

    Dreamcatcher (2003)

I saw Dreamcatcher when it was in theaters. I had not thought about it since, but as soon as I became aware of HDTGM it was the first movie that came to mind. Seriously, how did this not get made into an episode of How Did This Get Made?
