    Episode 326 — 2014 Holiday Spectacular

So none of you weirdos are going to talk about how Aimee Mann and Ted Leo sound perfect together? I was sad they changed the original lyrics of their instant Christmas smash away from Tom Scharpling and the Best Show references... but what are you going to do? Its a great song.

    Episode 9 — Hollywood Bowl

Scott: "I'm enjoying myself." Harris: "That's because of this jam!" Scott: "It's good." Harris: "It's funky!"

    Episode 9 — Hollywood Bowl

I've got my Goo Balls ready for this!
  4. The Greggulator's brother! I love it!
  5. The best part of Never Not Funny joining EarWolf, for me, is hearing Jake sing "L.A. Podcast" in the commercials for it. Anyway, back to the show. Loved it. Love Ted. Love Aimee. Can't wait for the opportunity to buy The Both!
  6. The second that Jake started singing Tom Scharpling's "L.A. Podcast" in an ad for Never Not Funny KILLED me.

So I just went to a screening of a 1980/1 film called "New Year's Evil." Jake, I'm not sure if you've seen it but it stars Roz Kelly (aka Pinky Tuscadero) as the host of a local L.A. "new wave" music show.) It's a horror movie and believe me, the trailer is worth your 2 minutes. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=euuX0aGvZ2o
  8. No joking here, Jake your podcast is my favourite podcast.
  9. I went to a Best Show listening party in Toronto at The Royal Cinema. Before the show we had a band do covers of "Rock and Roll Dreams'll Come Through" and "Porcupine Pie" (Billy Joel/Led Zeppelin remix), we had someone do a dramatic reading from "Weirdos Exposed," we had trailers for "My Bodyguard," "Hider in the House," "Smokey & the Bandit 2," "Class of '84" and "Deathwish 3." Damien from Fucked Up, Nick Flanagan and Emma from Toronto said a few words before the show. Then we all sat down in complete silence and laughed hysterically for 2 and half hours. As soon as the montage ended everyone was in tears. It was the most beautiful thing to be apart of.
  10. Jake, let's all admit that the Gary the Squirrel bump put you over the top.
  11. On Wednesday we will be sad, but on Tuesday night...
  12. Tom in Lipstick City? The world isn't ready.
  13. This was an ABSOLUTE JOY to listen to. Nothing, entertainment-wise, has meant more to me in the last decade than the Best Show. Not only has the show been so, so, so funny to me but it introduced me to so many more funny and talented people. Also, it kind of also introduced me to podcasting... Sorry Tom. I'll forever be in debt to Tom, Jon, & Mike. The Best Show: Some will burn, all will pay! Oh, and thanks Jake and Daniel for doing a MORE than fitting tribute.

  15. So Jake, to bring up the "Evergreen" topic from The Best Show, Dice big-timed you. What a wad.
