Just wanted to chime in on the “magic art of disguise” that was talked about in the show. In one of the DVD’s deleted scenes you find out that the cuteness (Pistachio’s dog) was actually Pistachio’s grandfather in disguise for the whole movie! This plot line was completely dropped except for a small scene after the credits are over when you see the cuteness say “no more dog food” in the grandfather’s voice! I would say that there is plenty of magic in turning yourself physically into a dog! A magic that’s only accessed through energico!

They played this often on tv when I was a kid and I kind of loved it. My co-worker's kid auditioned to attend this high school a few months ago! They started academic review for admission this month

It’s currently on sale on iTunes for 7.99 (2.99 to rent) so I went ahead and bought it. I’ve never seen it, but I have a feeling it’s going to kind of be my jam.

I had completely forgotten a remake existed. I've got a pretty busy week but I might try to fit it in.

We could just ask B*tch McConnell. If only his portrait was hung on the wall at the Turtle Club. That joke alone would earn this film 5 stars.

I chose this name in homage to the classic Treat Williams/Joe Piscopo buddy-cop film "Dead Heat", my #1 hope for HDTGM to cover.

If we wanted to torture ourselves we could contrast/compare it with the remake/reboot from 200and-something. I’m not endorsing this idea, just throwing it out there. honestly, I doubt I’d make it through the remake.

Yes, I was at a Boston show for an episode that hasn't dropped yet. If other audiences are anything like the audience from that night, then some angel is editing these podcasts to an extent that I hadn't appreciated until now. Is it just me or are audiences more obnoxious these days? It didn't seem so long ago when people would behave respectfully at a show.

This was the first movie that I've watched for this show that I legitimately found painful to sit through. I was at the theater that night. I'm relieved that they cut some of the more obnoxious stuff from the audience out.
