  1. Discussion of Hayes's Who Charted appearance on this week's (stellar) PAW reminded me that on that show, he said he likes thee Oh Sees, who, what a coincidence, I'm playing with in a few hours. Hayes, if you want my guest list spot, it's yours. Just PM me in the next two hours so I can tell my friend Josie she got bumped for a celeb.
  2. Hi Allan. Your character on You're the Worst is a real dweeb. How much do you get picked on in real life because of it and what's the worst anyone has bullied you in Hollywood? What's the worst thing you've ever done? Do you think it is unethical to write popcorn gallery questions at work?
  3. This is a great episode of podcasting that drops some real TRUTH BOMBS near the end, don't listen if you're AFRAID of getting your MIND BLOWN
  4. Geimho of Grease Knows Eggs but I wish we also got an episode of my favorite show, Hollywood Handbook, this week
  5. Jesse, what did it feel like to have the invention of podcasting retroactively stolen from you by Serial? Do you like it when Eggs Scharpling calls you Jesse Thorpe or do you think that is mean?
  6. Hi I was going to say "You live in Austin, who are you?" but I actually think we have met before -- I know Bill and Sean. Also, I am in love with this episode, Julie Klausner was my secret dream guest for a long time and this is even better than I thought it would be. I always listen twice in a row, but this time I'm listening 3 times in a row.
  7. Hi Ronnie Hog. Who do you think would win in a fight, you or me? (My money's on me.) BTW great episode this week. Of Hollywood Handbook, not your show. Maybe yours is good too. Haven't listened yet.
  8. Please let it be known that the true question that I wanted Brother Lovers to answer was WHO WOULD WIN IN A FIGHT, ME OR DAVID but David was too chickenshit to ask.
  9. Mr. Scharpling, How many baby carrots do you think you could fit in your mouth at once? What is the name of the first person you ever had a crush on? What kind of eggs? Thank you, RanRan
  10. Just make the t-shirt say the (full) name of the show. Optional "what up what up," optional notebook-style background print. Please no jokes or "catchphrases" from show. Don't punish us.
  11. Today "Sandstorm" started playing while I was at lunch. If there is a lurker out there who works at Mi Madre's Tacos, recognized me from my profile picture, and wanted to give me a (not so) subtle HH nod, please just say hi next time. It was really difficult to explain to my friend.

EPISODE 92 — Fans, Our Close Fans

The local sandwich that's biggest is probably like some bbq bullshit. Brisket or something. But WHO CARES because we have tacos. I'll have two migas tacos on flour, please and thank you. The ACTUAL best sandwich in town is the Buffalo Popcorn Tofu Po Boy from Wheatsville (with vegan blue cheese dressing, of course), and the best pizza topping combination is pineapple, black olive, and mushroom. But I don't expect any of you lot to be sophisticated enough to appreciate the finer things in life.

EPISODE 92 — Fans, Our Close Fans

Joe, I wish you well in your quest for a best bro. I feel like Jo is a strong contender (plus your names sound the same -- high laugh potential there, right?!) However, if you're looking for someone to live up to Bo Scout's precedent, I worry that can only lead to disappointment.

EPISODE 92 — Fans, Our Close Fans

<--pretty great Episode was great as well. It's a real testament to Sean and Hayes's talent that they can make an episode so enjoyable regardless of the guests.
  15. Christ, no, I explicitly said in my post that I am a FRIEND OF CHANSON. Do you hate your friends, Dairy Pillows? Is that what it's like over in upside down land?
  16. orphan yachts are you really booji boy?! please prove by singing "words get stuck" for us.
  17. Hi guys. Really nervous to post here! This forum seems very funny and nice and I find that intimidating for some reason, how nice it is I guess. Anyway, hope it's okay to post about the episode and say that I thought it was great. The two additions I would have liked would be a hotdog gallery and also I think they should have made Mr. Scharpling PROVE that he could get Jim Florentine on the phone, because I don't think he could. But those would just be additions to an already perfect episode, so I'm probably wrong. Anyway, looking forward to many great posts to come! Sincerely, RanRan, F.O.C. (Friend of Chanson)
  18. how can u tell if a wound is infected
  19. Wet Hot American Diaper [dodges tomatoes] HEY, SOME PEOPLE CAN'T HANDLE THE TRUTH I GUESS! [gets hit square in the forehead with a big, juicy tomato. crowd goes wild.]
  20. Boy oh boy am I nervous to disagree with the man who made THE joke, but I feel almost exactly the opposite. Tom invited them to the show and tried to ask them questions. But almost every time they tried to talk, Patton would interrupt and step all over whatever they were trying to say. Would love to hear Sean and Hayes on a more standard episode of the Best Show, especially if they could interact with some callers.
  21. The ads in this episode were great. Maybe my all-time favorite ad sequence. Didn't listen to the rest of the episode because I'm too mad about not being there; assuming it was terrible. Everyone please watch Big Brother. I am obsessed now. Thanks Valerie.
  22. Great job, Tim. I was really impressed by how well you rose to the challenge of paying for a full-page ad and getting the ad art in almost on time. You should feel proud. (I really, really like the ad! And the video!)
  23. I happen to like A Bear's name, and since we are IRL friends now, I strongly feel that my vote should weigh more heavily than everyone else's.
