Just wanted to share that my friend's magazine Weng's Chop just did an article on Andy Sidaris in the new issue. You can check out a screen shot of the first page of the article and link for info on how to get the magazine here:

You guys would all dig this magazine, really great stuff in there.

Just saw it and laughed nonstop. It reminded me of Jupiter Ascending a little bit in how bad it was. I would LOVE for them to do this movie.
-
This is the first time I've taken the time to go back and watch an old movie I never saw before just because HDTGM was gonna do an episode on it... I think I've made a terrible mistake...

I know this podcast is heavily Gen X/Millenial but I'd rather hear some other, older comedy get discussed. Everyone has seen and loves South Park but of that audience, I wonder who has seen Bringing Up Baby or The Thin Man?
Â
Oh I'm not suggesting not doing movies like those, but hopefully the podcast continues for a long time and there's room for both :-)
Â
I'm also looking forward to a few years down the road when we can discuss films from this decade.
-
I actually didn't like the show (probably as a reaction to how overly popular it was) until the movie. After the movie I became a fan of the show and everything Trey & Matt do.
-
Sorry if these had been suggested before, just started listening recently and love the show. These two movies I think go hand in hand being Trey Parker and Matt Stone. They're also both classics and two of the funniest movies of the last 20 years. Personally I think I'd have to side with Team America but they're both amazing.

Haha this movie actually scared me as a kid. Wasn't there a kid who put flys in a cookie or something? I'm sure it's ridiculous.
-
Haha yea I wouldn't ever expect it because I'm sure they might even all be friends. But man I couldn't get over how bad it was. Just sitting there in a theater of like 20 people, no one laughing at all.
-
I was fascinated by the decision to have Tina Fey as the more partying type sister.
Â
Right? Just one of many really weird decisions in this movie. I love her but it's impossible to see her in that role.
-
I know I know... We all love Tina Fey and Amy Pohler. And a lot of the other people in this movie... But you know a movie is bad when the only time you crack a smile is when John Leguizamo says something. It was just unbearable.
-
I think I saw that in the theater with my dad when I was like 8 or something. The name always stuck with me but I can't for the life of me remember a single thing about the movie. That scene sounds amazing though.
-
Ok... You guys do realize that Osama bin Laden is somewhere at the bottom of the ocean, right? He could TOTALLY be controlling the Sharknados!

That Nicolas Cage baby is horrifying. These are excellent. :-)

Was "No...April, May, June? That's ridiculous," from Tara Reid a diss on June? I'm gonna say yes. I also think I'm pretty much done with this movie. I've seen enough haha.

Oh man we laughed so hard at this movie opening weekend. We were a little stoned, and overly psyched because for some reason we thought it looked AMAZING, so maybe it was the too-high expectations (and maybe the being stoned), but we laughed the whole time. I don't remember much about it, but I'm sure this would make for a great episode.

I've been catching up on all the older episodes I never listened to, and I just started this one and I just wanted to jump on here and say... I would pay money for Garbage Pail Kids Super Model cards.

My girlfriend found this on Lifetime. We're watching it right now and it's positively insane. Not a single thing that's happened so far has made any sense at all, and the creepy kid has a confetti drawer. Highly recommended.
-
I just wanted to say that while this was one of my favorite episodes ever, and I bet the movie is just ridiculous looking back at it now... It freaking ruled when I was 11, and so did Ninja Rap.
-
I laughed so hard through this whole movie. One of the worst things I've seen in so long. So glad this is getting done. The thing that stuck out the most to me (other than Eddie Redmayne's entire performance, the general insanity of the plot, and basically everything else happening on screen) was when Redmayne calls the dinosaur guy "MISTER" Greeghan. I'm pretty sure some of the other silly looking aliens are referred to with a Mr. in front of their names too, which is just so ridiculous to me.
-
I actually screamed out loud in the theater when they referred to the dinosaur guy as Mr Greeghan. I think a bunch of other funny looking alien characters were referred to with a Mr in front of their names too which made me laugh every time. Nothing beats Redmayne's performance though. So amazing.

Nice! Now I may actually watch it.
