loved Hayes' pivotal role in the story that drove the topic of The Best Show last night. for those who don't wanna skim through the 3-hour show to find a Hayes anecdote: Tom was at a haunted house with his wife, a friend, and Hayes. When a monster-man tried to scare them, he recognized Hayes' voice from Hollywood Handbook, and said it was his favorite podcast. Hayes then said something to the effect of, "well if you know me, you must know this guy, Tom Scharpling", and the guy didn't know him, even from his 3 appearances on HH. Tom was disappointed that this guy knew Hayes from a show that's only been running for two years, and didn't know him from his 15 year empire that he had built, leading to the topic of the show being "Why Do I Even Bother".

what a great episode. sure, i was hoping to get the pro version for my absolutely hilarious posting in the past few weeks, but the bird deserved it. maybe sean will keep Jeff's box of puppets, I'd love to see those crazy characters come back some time.

i like that splitsider article about Grease Knows Eggs. they really appeal to us nerds, using hot nerd key words, like "trilogy" and "anti-comedy", as well as words that only real nerds would know the definition of, such as "apropos", "transgressive", and using "faux" as a prefix. splitsider knows that their readers also read books and are smart, and if you aren't a smart nerd, you might as well fuck off.

why is the AV club so nice? comedy bang bang is one of my favorite shows on tv, but that halloween episode was pretty bad, and still got an A is scott anchorman paying them off to get bang bang on podmass every week + good grades on the tv show?

went to a screening of The Shining last night. everyone in the theater was laughing, i think they were in the wrong movie!!! scary!!!

this was my favorite non-Scharpling episode of the year. Brandon Content is a great character, but i think Douglas was the real break-out star in this one, I'd expect him to be on Bang Bang any week now.

re-listened to the Matt Gourley ep last night. today, he was a no-show for class. what a surprise, gonna give him a 5/5 on ratemyprofessor

oh no, i listen to a lot of very immature emotive music. front bottoms are just too whiny for me. and death cab for cutie is one of my all-time favorite bands. i actually might see front bottoms soon though, because Elvis Depressedly is opening for them on tour, and I love me some ED.

i never realized that Front Bottoms was a dick thing. I also never realized what bands they were able to be likened to, but looks like you just gave the comprehensive list (i dont like this band)
