    Has anyone here seen the movie Room? I just saw it and realized the whole bit that Joe Wengert was doing a few episodes back with Douglas and not leaving room was a reference to the movie. Watching the movie and re-listening to that episode is the greatest comic relief I've experienced.

     

     

    It's a really good movie and the kid doesn't use articles and doesn't really know how to use plurals so he sounds like Hayes and Sean basically.

    How does it feel for your podcast career to be off to such a strong start? your career is clearly one that can only go downhill. hopefully you have some crazy shit to talk about with Marc Maron, or a wacky character for the other earwolf show, because those are your only chances for any longevity in this medium

    (i actually just bought some wax and use my g-pen more than anything else, but a couple of backwoods per week keep me on that "fucking your lungs up" game which is really brave if you ask me)

    Something surreal happened today.

     

    So I'm listening to the first half of the show on the way to class, and I'm crackin' up. It's great. I go to class, get out, and start listening to the second half on the way home. I pull over around the block from my place to roll a backwoods, and literally as I open the package for the blunts, they get off on the thing about honey blunts, and yes, BACKWOODS. So weird that Sean mentioned them by name, I mean, they're pretty popular as blunts, but they're no Swisher Sweets. I felt like, in that moment, I was the butt of the entire joke, but I still rolled/smoked it. Good episode.

    I've heard every other episode (probably multiple times)! I was worried I would just get second-hand embarrassment if Pauly Shore was just being an asshole, but it turns out that I did not properly understand everything I had heard about this episode. It is amazing. Engineer Codyboy is destroying. DON'T LET YOUR FEARS HOLD YOU BACK, FORUMERS.

    I'm about to listen to the Pauly Shore interview for the first time and I'm legit terrified of how cringey it's going to be. Please pray for me and my highly sensitive soul.

     

    PS at first I thought the TRULY cryptic World of Paella was going to be another nerd food delivery service and I'm pleased to see that they're not actually sending fetid seafood across the USA.

     

    PPS I did enjoy the Bowie single but I have not heard the album yet! I should buy it today.
