Have to admit I found Zouks kinda over the top in this one. I love him and his humor but I'm not a fan of the "tell the audience member to shut up" joke when it's done to every audience member. and he does talk over everyone all the time. also CORRECTION: it's pushing TEA - dealing marijuana, wtf was the silent T/E thing? Ground tea leaves sort of looks like pot so that;s where that comes from West Side Story lyric: "My daddy beats my mommy, my mommy clobbers me, my grandpa is a commie, my grandma pushes tea, my sister wears a mustache, my brother wears a dress... goodness gracious that's why I'm a mess!"

I was rooting for Pam & Pam to get together "enjoy the house!" was my fave line

Saw this film last night. I'd love to hear P double J take it down. I can already imagine that June found it upsetting at some points. And the 2nd opinions will be awesome. though to be faie, there were some things I genuinely liked and took as evidence that they were trying to make a good film out of a bad book. For one thing, Dakota Johnson was terrific; also the contract negotiation scene was beautifully directed. I just wish the film didn't go into bad melodrama; it should have maintained its funny/ironic tone.
