    RIPP (rest in peace pardo)
  2. Good luck with that. This might not be the best place to discuss EU politics, but as an American living in the UK at the moment I find them fascinating.
  3. Speak on that. Are you part of that challenge to give away all your wealth before you die?
  4. From Bad Kid Jokes A guy was at a shop he brought dome lobsters and said to the man : AAAAAGH its a crab. And the other man said thats not a crab its a orange pencil.
  5. A Bear, you are getting awfully close to my old game of "what is the most vile food combination you can think of?"
  6. Yes, but they are different.... more crosscut potatoes and less.... rectangles.
  7. I believe they are some bastardized version of waffle fries.
  8. Like A Bear said, teacher love is the deepest love, you know, because it carries the risk of 10-15 years in jail. edit: that sucks kittens. sorry.
  9. I've never listened to Maron. I get the sense he might not be my mug of holands. That said, I would LOVE seeing the boys sit around the table with Verner Herzog.

EPISODE 351 — CBB: The Movie

I could be wrong, but I think the 'back' bit was new to both. I really enjoyed that one. I will add, one of the things I enjoy the most about them is their relentless approach to these characters. I would encourage you to check out the Matt Gourley ep. It is one of my absolute favorite and I think it gets to the heart of their 'thing'. It's not like everyone has to love all the same things... well, I mean outside of Hollywood Handbook obviously.
  11. I use those fancy Gillette ProGlides as I shave my head and I've been nervous to 'slum it' with other razors, but I'd love to pay less. Might give Harry's a trial run.

EPISODE 351 — CBB: The Movie

I hear you in terms of laughter and such bothering you. Intellectually, I understand your point and I won't invalidate your experience, but man do I enjoy their goofiness. Different jokes for different folks after all. I think they kept very much in the spirit of HH as it was an extended plug for their show, which the best of featured two other table reads. For me, and maybe it's just me, I don't see a huge gulf between what they do and some of the sillier CBB bits. Thanks for enduring the HH enthusiasm!
  14. So I think I avoided the racism, but I might've opened another can of problems.
  15. I owe you a lifedebt for bringing this thing to my attention. Thank you!
  16. I recall being surprised, which we all know is the most important element in comedy, at my enjoyment of her episode. I've never really connected with her standup material, but I found her to be a delightful counterpart to the boys.

if you cannot enjoy JW Stillwater and his trusty ward in their quest to thwart the evil plans of Professor Steelwater then I feel sad for you.
  18. You are a true saint as the recipient of so much abuse. I hope your suffering is enjoyable (well.... at least compensated) because listening to it is a delight!
  19. I get the desire for the approval of the old guard and demi-gods amongst us, but just remember something you should know better than most... we are all star stuff.
  20. you got me in my fancy hat and bow-tie. only the best for you guys.

EPISODE 351 — CBB: The Movie

Guys, I know this is a place for jokes and scathing commentary about jokes, but some things aren't jokes.
  24. Picture joke: 3.5 stars (half a point off for each hand/.5 points off for no feet) Story joke: 6.5 stars. total score: 5 stars
