    The Transformers: The Movie (1986)

I saw this movie in theater on my 12th birthday and I gotta say, that's still in my top 5 best birthdays ever. I knew every single line of dialogue and could recite it (this is how we killed time on the bus before smartphones brought the internet to us). I owned the toys of Kupp, Rodimus Prime, Galvatron, Ultra Magnus and Blurr, even though they were much shittier toys than the original Transformers. I was pissed that the sexism that made Arcee the only female Transformer also made her pink and not a toy. I really wanted an Arcee toy. This movie was like someone at Hasbro watched Heavy Metal and said "let's do that" and that's why it's better than Bays movies.

    Predestination (2014)

I think this is a good candidate just to hear Paul's attempts to explain the plot to a very confused June and Jason.

    Supernova (2000)

This movie just appeared on Hulu. I think it's time to rewatch it.

    Jem and The Holograms (2015)

From io9's review, (titled "Jem and the Holograms Fails In A Way I've Never Seen A Film Movie Before") YouTube videos intercut with the film? That sounds pretty bad.

The Adventures of Ford Fairlane (1990)

"Robin Leach...I fucked him, OHH!" Watching this now on Encore. Seriously wondering How Did This Get Made. It's an LA action noir directed by Renny Harlin at his height (after Die Hard 2/before Cliffhanger). The hair gel budget alone has got to be a topic of discussion.

    The Wraith (1986)

Tag Line: He's not from around here. Nick Cassavettes is the crazy leader of an Arizona car gang. He tries to impress Sherilyn Finn by killing her boyfriend Jamie. Bad idea because Jamie returns from the dead as an alien/ghost/race car driver who looks like Charlie Sheen. Sheen uses his magical Tron car to kill off the gang one-by-one in an 80s way.

    Under the Cherry Moon (1986)

Prince is a great topic of discussion for HDTGM. Of his movies, Purple Rain and Sign O' The Times are great and Graffiti Bridge is an incoherent fever dream of a film. Under the Cherry Moon has a terrible plot, bad acting, an uneven tone, great cinematography and like I said before a really good soundtrack. This one falls right into perfect podcast territory.
