    EPISODE 114 — Runaway

Thanks for the extra info, I took some computer science courses but admittedly am not a scientist. Most of my info came from a quick wiki search. I originally thought the room number was a nerd joke that was passed over on the podcast. But when I checked the timeline it doesn't really fit. Is there any other thing that the 404 could be referencing?

    EPISODE 114 — Runaway

I noticed a weird coincidence the first time I watched this movie the other day. When Ramsay asks which room Johnson is hiding out in the man on street replies "404." In HTTP status codes a 404 error means that a client is unable to communicate with a server. I'm sure we've all seen 404 - page not found errors before. Here's the strange part, the earliest version of HTTP was documented in 1991... 7 years after Runaway was released. Could the 404 error code be inspired by this movie of malfunctioning robots?
