Okay.... the tonal shifts in this film are pure gold. And Sly teaching Madeleine Stowe how to walk in high heals is unspeakably beautiful. The trailer marketed this as a pure action film, yet it is clearly meant to be a comedy (not unintentionally like The Wicker Man, but an honest-to-goodness comedy).
