I didn't know Ansel Elgort was public enemy #1 before I watched Baby Driver. The only thing I've seen him in was one of the Divergent movies and tbh nobody really came off well in that.

Oh, and cast Oscar Isaac as Baby?

I didn't like her character either - or the lack of character development for Debora. It didn't help that Baby and Debora had very little chemistry on screen. I liked the first half of the movie, but I was let down by the latter half, which doesn't even contain many "musical" elements at all. The whole Doc lets Baby go because he was in love once too felt really out of place. Jon Hamm "falling to his death" thing was too convenient - as if the movie's trying to say see, Baby's not a really bad guy, he's not a murderer!

I did! I didn't like the Za sketch at first, but then Franco went all in and I appreciated that. In the same vein, I liked Pretty Mandy. It was dumb but I liked her commitment.

12 Dates of Christmas - one of my biggest gripes was when Miles tells Amy Smart that he designs parks and he mentions "You know Prospect Park?" and Amy Smart goes "You designed it?" Like, that's a >100 year old park designed by Olmsted and Vaux. Ok, so maybe she didn't know the names of the 2 landscape architects, but she seriously thought Miles designed the fucking thing? Also, I had to Google what cherry chips were (the ones used in her neighbor's cake). But then when they showed the actual cake, it looked like a regular fruit cake? Lastly, I don't care how nice an ex is, I would never lend my dog to them.
