This for sure was a nod and a wink to Bollywood films. It wasn't illegal to show kissing in movies, but there were very few kissing scenes for a long time, IIRC. I watched a few classics with Indian and Pakistani friends and there were always scenes of the protagonists nearly kissing - they draw closer and then at the pivotal point they both turn away, LOL. Anyway, there was an interesting article about it. ETA: Forgot to mention that my friends taught me it was "screw in the lightbulb and bounce the ball." Thought that was funny compared with the film, where they say "screw in the lightbulb and pet the dog"

Well, I don't think an Indian birth certificate is a necessity to become a Bollywood expert. I mean, look at Barack Obama. He wasn't born in America, but he sure became an American politics expert.

No, I guess it's not a true one. On further Googling, I found out Naveen Andrews doesn't speak Hindi, so I'm sure that's a factor for why he hasn't done any other Bollywood movies. And speaking of Hindi, I can't be the only person who wondered what this meant.

That part was one of the highlights of the movie. I searched for other movies/clips for Naveen Andrews dancing, but nothing came up. Is it possible this is the one and only Bollywood musical he did?

MTE! I never thought I'd say this, but I had more fun watching (and making fun of) Iron Fist. It was easier to pay attention to IF for this reason alone. Dude, I was just looking at the HDTGM episode list yesterday and saw that Sucker Punch was coming up. Having listened to the episode, I'm really dreading having to watch this "movie."

I've only seen Jack Frost, but I'd be ok with any of those movies.

I think the Darcy-off is too easy. Next week, we should do a Mister-off. Darcy vs Knightley.
