  1. No, they just end up jumping into the water, presumably to their watery graves, at the same time the boat's anchor was going up.
  2. Because of this: They made it sound like cats were gonna drown, so I guessed that the cats couldn't jump off the anchor into the water. I remembered this because I was horrified that those cats might drown. And also, some cats actually don't mind the water, but those mice knew very little about their natural enemy.
  3. I noticed this hair tonic bottle on the lower left corner, because earlier in the movie, there was a similar bottle for Princess hair tonic. Well, John Pomeroy was involved with not only this movie but the other Bluth movies as well.

    Episode 162.5 - Minisode 162.5

Very sad news about Roger Moore, who was my favorite Bond. Last month, Clifton James, who played Sheriff JW Pepper, also passed away.
  5. Because they were stronger than Henri. I think they did all the heavy lifting. At the end, it's the lady pigeon who carried the parents while Henry carried the 2 kids. And the other lady pigeons carried the cat.
  6. What's the deal with Henri? Is it delusional disorder or maybe even schizophrenia?
  7. ^ Same thing with American Tail. I haven't seen this in decades and I remembered there being more than 4 (or 5?) songs. Also, I was surprised it was only 80 minutes long. It felt a lot longer when I was a kid.
  8. But I would argue that the instrumentals are almost as important as the songs in La La Land. Like the Planetarium instrumental. Or Mia & Sebastian's theme! Even the epilogue theme is good. Fuck it, I like them all. When I listen to the soundtrack, I rarely skip over any of the tracks.
  9. I did like that they rhymed duo with true-o.
  10. Hold up. I was reviewing James Horner's imdb page (the man was a composing machine!) and then I read he passed away in a plane crash. Shit, I didn't know that.
  11. I liked the kids singing too. However, I did think maybe they could've worked in some harmonies towards the end. This was my favorite song from the movie. Then No Cats in America, I guess.* ETA: "I guess" because although the song was catchy, I would hate a cat-free America.
  12. So there were only 4 songs in this, right? I guess 5, if you count the Give Me Your Tired, Your Poor song?
  13. GNATural BUGarithms
  14. What about MOTHmetics? LOLOL
  15. Mrs mouse totes ate that baby.
  16. Same confession here. I got to the part with the demonic ocean (I prefer my oceans friendly like in Moana, btw). One thing that caught my eye in the beginning was the scene back in Russia, where Fivel's mother is seen feeding her baby a bottle. Think about that. Did these poor mice have access to store-bought infant formula back in 1885? If it's not infant formula, what's in the bottle? I highly doubt Fivel's mother had a tiny mouse-sized breast pump. So how/where did they get the milk? Whose milk is this??
  17. I too forgot that Fargo started. Glad to hear S3 is as solid as the previous seasons. I'm so behind on my tv!
  18. Ashley Tisdale was one of the executive producers. That makes sense.

    Musical Mondays-Week 8-Rent

Some interesting choices in the 27 Actors You Want to See in Rent Live article...
  20. I laughed so hard when I saw this gif and then imagined JDR's reaction to it. Will she be at the Austin show?
  21. OMG I love this movie unironically. I hope the sequel happens.
  22. Add me to the Spy fan club. Melissa McCarthy kicks ass as usual, but I was surprised how funny Jason Statham was. He should be in more comedies! I liked What We Do in the Shadows a lot. I think what helped me was that I went in knowing virtually nothing about it. And Cam Bert, that's not how you spell Tay Tay.
