I‘m down for any happy news.

I gave up after 25 minutes, but from what I saw, my favorite Monkee is NONE OF THEM.

I know you guys looked into it a few months back, but has anyone tried it recently? is it better? if we're self isolating, it'd be fun to watch some stuff with you all
Tried Kast earlier tonight with my friend and the video kept stopping so we gave up. I dunno if it's affected by the increased demand during the pandemic.

I don't understand why everyone hasn't bought a copy of it yet?

YOU ARE ALL WELCOME!
Thanks, I think I hate cartoons now.

Also, he has FOUR FINGERS per hand. He might be related to the Lost statue.
WTF is a downblouse? I googled it and all these porn links came up so I didn't click on any.

What/who the hell is that eyeless thing on the top right corner? Â
Why is the man's left hand a completely different skin tone than the rest of his body?
Is that Speedy Gonazles in the lower right corner?
What do they mean, "the legend goes on..."? Â
So many questions!

Re: his motorcycle, apparently the seat height was only 30 inches, so I can believe he was a tiny human lol. Also, that motorcycle had only 27 horsepower (they make Vespas with ~24 hp now). Â
Anyhoo, I thought the music was great, Prince's stage performances were electric, but I couldn't get into anything else. Took me 3 days to get through the movie and even then I kept fast forwarding through the parts where people just stared at each other.

Y’all can rewatch Billy the Kid and the Green Baize Vampire, since baize is velvet-adjacentÂ

Is he really? Serious question. I don't know much about his life and I've only read a few of his short stories. Â

Is this movie saying that Oscar Wilde is the first glam rock star?Â

I probably liked this more than most here. Maybe it's because it was constantly on tv, but I didn't have a problem with the number of characters. Sort of like high school IRL, you know of lots of kids in your class peripherally, but you don't really know their story beginning to end.   Â
My favorite part was the graduation scene. Loved the song, the choreo, the familiar faces in the audience, and the warm gold light in the auditorium. It was such a hopeful and joyous moment, but also heartbreaking because we know most of them will become struggling artists. Â

They played this often on tv when I was a kid and I kind of loved it. Â
My co-worker's kid auditioned to attend this high school a few months ago! They started academic review for admission this monthÂ

No, he was never coming.

I enjoyed the soundtrack more than the movie overall. If the movie was a series of music montages I would’ve been ok with that. The band seemed to have a lot of fun performing and they were more charming on stage than off.Â
PS - I also liked the commitments being the origin story of Guy (Glen Hansard’s character in Once)

The muppets in this movie were so adorable, not just the design of the animals themselves but also their costumes. I loved Emmet's Paddington-meets-babushka style.
The songs were adorable too. And I'm glad they didn't do the "a special guest, Kermit, is in the audience, why don't you come up on stage and sing" thing.
