who among us is bold enough to introduce someone to handbook - for the first time - with this episode?
Â
it would be a fool's errand!
Â
it's too late now.
Â
the capsule doors are locked shut, the shuttle has launched.
Â
these recent seven-layer, episode-within-episode, host-as-guest-as-host-as-guest, engineer-swapped, ice-cold hot-takes, renegade-podcast-turned-insider-looking-in-from-the-outside, two-people-on-one-shoe, scripps-wolfpop-midroll-calvinNhobbes-bestShow-eastcoast-westcoast quantum network entanglement, deadpool-and-midnight-special ACTUAL movie-reviews-not-even-teaser-frozen, "mansplained casper matress" the jukebox musical episodes..
Â
we are now approaching the event horizon.
innocent plot threads are becoming unstable isotopes.
we are entering the Gemberling multiverse.
in space no one can hear you meme.
may Tom have mercy on our souls.

I'm confused by Brett's facial expression here. Does that guy serial murder Oreos, or does he just eat them like a normal person?
Â
from the way brett jangles keys, to the way he makes himself physically sick from playing guitar, to the way he sneaks meals from the restaurant for dogs by his house, and is 'dating' a printout of an old buzzfeed article...
Â
yeah, you gotta figure he's got a really fucked up way of eating a cookie

The peanut gallery was where poorer movies/theater goers would sit, most of the time it was on a balcony above everyone else. And being poor they were known to eat peanuts (a cheap snack at the time) during the show, so that's how it got its name. It also was known for people making uneducated comments during the show from the balcony. They modernized it and it's us making uneducated comments during the show, and now we have popcorn and not peanuts.
Â
Those 2 are amazing! A very smart smart way to snub us! Lol
Â
no.... i'm pretty sure that's not it.
Â
it has the veneer of an accurate, well-researched and informative explanation.
Â
but almost a little too accurate, well-researched and informative, know what i mean?
Â
so yah if we were playing Balderdash i'd single this one out as an obvious hoax right away
-
was it expensive or something?
Â
seems like something brett could rig up next time they 'cast from his man cave

Love the part where Hayes says "who's a good guy... Did honlads ever get it?" anyone else hear that part? Great part imo. Love that memory.
Â
Also, hellooooooo, "tip your mug"???? I know a fan when I hear one. Thanks Sean.
Â
Really feeling this ep. Maybe I can be a guest cohost next week, just an idea

also fuck whoever tried to defend immitation game, one of the most boring movies i've sat through in the past few years
Â
Â
also i love you for prompting sean to taz out
Â
have you seen the episode pics lately?
Â
i feel like somewhere along the way - getting married maybe, conjuring and then dismembering demons for our amusement in Ash perhaps, growing that beard out most likely - Sean stopped tazzing out and is full on hulking out now

Im super excited to hear more from Stacy.
Â
Do you think she will make fun of them this time?
Â

Â
just relax, stand silently next to cody, and reap the comparative advantage

I'm looking forward to listening to this one because everyone seems to enjoy it. I'll give it a 9 out of 10 based on the reactions I've seen so far, with possible reservations to restore that 10th point when I'm done listening
Â
you shut up and give it a ten now.
Â
like what, they need to earn that extra 1?
Â
shouldnt you have to demonstrate why it isnt a full 10?
Â
(hint: you're almost mathematically guaranteed to be ehh wrong)

ya honestly, almost sounds like you hate handbook, gollstone
Â
as a _real_ fan, i can honestly say that all 132 episodes are in my top 10, and the vast majority are no lower than coming in at number 9.
Â
it's called appreciating art correctly. look it up

Doughboys only gave Five Guys four out of five forks? Ehhhhhh, wrong
Â
pretty sure they don't even do forks at Five Guys.
Â
they should have given them "four out of five guys" so that's ehhh, wooosh
Â
meanwhile the rating itself is, as you said, ehhh, incorrect

NUMBER ONE GOOD TIMES SPOT FOR ARTS AND SHITÂ
So I decided to take mattress into my own hands, get out of bed, and make my own T-shirt design.

It wasn't a ... Casper mattress ... by any chance... I pray?

And remember... You're under Scottish oath

That should hang in Adam Sachs office! No joke. If they make it big enough it could cover the 2 Who Charted? Posters!Â
I say make it even bigger yet.
Â
Cover the two existing Who Charted posters, then have it fold out, so later on it can cover even more!

I nominate PutSome Gravyonit for the pro-version, because he sold me tix for the live show. i i told Hayes that it was him, but no pro version? i thought he got what i meant when i said
Â
"yo hazie bone. member me? well, i wouldn't be here without PSGOI. give him what he deserves".
Â
Â
i think that's what i said.
Â
Cheeba! Hawkington!
Â
What up!!
Â
Thanks for the shout out - and a big BKKKAWWWWW to you on this fine-ass four-twenny of a day.
Â
hayes and i, we go way back. all the way to my previous account, putsome jellyonit. he added it to his likes even, which if i understand the earwolf forum infrastructure, entitled me to a free sklar themed mug warmer and 15 megabytes of any howl show i wanted. naturally, knowing my luck? my account got dumped before i could cash in. but i have the memories, and they'll keep me as warm as any sklar merch could.
Â
meanwhile, just to point out a technicality that will serve no purpose and change nothing in any way, you probably should have just yelled "PG". you know how hayes likes his word games. he probably heard PSGOI and thought "Pauly Shore Googles On Internet". which, thinking back, does help explain hayes'es mood during that episode.
Â
glad you made it to that show. youre just the sort of motherfucker the show needs around, keeping things real. reely reel.
Â
oh and here comes karma. i just booked more tickets. now we'll try the other coast. w000t
Â
Â
~~jah love~~
