The Spider-Gentleman replied to DaltonMaltz's topic in improv4humans with Matt Besser
Wow 500 episodes of CBB. If this week has taught me anything, it's that i really like Anthony King. -
Episode 493 - King Garbage Dick
The Spider-Gentleman replied to DaltonMaltz's topic in Comedy Bang Bang
A pretty short ep, but i really enjoyed it. Lots of laughter. -

Episode 116 - Backstage at the Grand Ole Opry (w/ Alison Brie, Rebekka Johnson, Kimmy Gatewood, Jackie Tohn)
The Spider-Gentleman replied to JulyDiaz's topic in SPONTANEANATION with Paul F. Tompkins
Really funny improv, loved it. I'm a huge Bojack fan so hearing PFT talk with Alison Brie was cool. -
Episode 115 - Labyrinth (w/ Kristian Bruun, Stephanie Courtney, Shaun Diston, Little Janet Varney)
The Spider-Gentleman replied to JulyDiaz's topic in SPONTANEANATION with Paul F. Tompkins
Look i just don't have the time to write out "little". I can't believe you made me do it right there! -
I'm only 7 mins in but "Batman still hasn't begun" is my favourite. EDIT: Scratch that, Carl Tart was my favourite. He's becoming one of those guys where you see the name in the CBB headline and immediately get 10x more excited.

Episode 115 - Labyrinth (w/ Kristian Bruun, Stephanie Courtney, Shaun Diston, Little Janet Varney)
The Spider-Gentleman replied to JulyDiaz's topic in SPONTANEANATION with Paul F. Tompkins
Wow such a good ep, one my favourites i think! Kristian's interview was so good and made better by how much PFT and JV were audibly enjoying it. It feels like we haven't seen l'il Janet in a while so that was a treat. Everyone was so funny, loved it. Having said that, Stephanie's catering story was legit scary. -
Episode 114 - Ice Cream Shop In the Winter (w/ Shannon Woodward, Sarah Burns, Nyima Funk, Rebecca Delgado Smith)
The Spider-Gentleman replied to JulyDiaz's topic in SPONTANEANATION with Paul F. Tompkins
For some reason i felt like this was one of those eps where Eban wasn't in the room, but then i checked the photos and he's there. -
Episode 113 - In the Green Room of a Local Morning Show (w/ Nicole Parker, Mary Sohn, Amanda Lund, Maria Blasucci)
The Spider-Gentleman replied to JulyDiaz's topic in SPONTANEANATION with Paul F. Tompkins
"I got an almond husk in my throat! I'm Ghandi". Only 5 minutes in and i already love it. EDIT: Really great episode. Nicole Parker brought so much energy. Munderscore is always a treat and Amanda and Mary were both amazing as well. -
Scott was even funnier than usual today, he was on fire. Haley is great and Carl Smart and Doug Gropes were both hilarious.

Episode 112 - Life Drawing Class (w/ Ted Leo, Colleen Smith, Craig Cackowski, Jordan Black)
The Spider-Gentleman replied to JulyDiaz's topic in SPONTANEANATION with Paul F. Tompkins
Uh guys, i don't want to alarm anyone, but i think that guy reading the ad at the start WASN'T MACK WELDON EDIT: this was a great episode. When you have three all-stars like this they can really have more fun with the format -
Episode 485 - The 8th Anniversary Show!
The Spider-Gentleman replied to Shannon's topic in Comedy Bang Bang
There's going to be a live ep of UTU2TM?! -
Episode 110 - The Manager’s Office of a Miniature Golf Course (w/ Tatiana Maslany, Lauren Lapkus)

The Spider-Gentleman replied to JulyDiaz's topic in SPONTANEANATION with Paul F. Tompkins
I'm also in the "embarassed myself in the office" club when Scott was doing the RA character. So funny. -
Episode 110 - The Manager’s Office of a Miniature Golf Course (w/ Tatiana Maslany, Lauren Lapkus)
The Spider-Gentleman replied to JulyDiaz's topic in SPONTANEANATION with Paul F. Tompkins
Tatiana Maslany? Yay!! -
Episode 107 - An Interstellar Colony Ship w/ Superego (Jeremy Carter, Matt Gourley, Mark McConville)
The Spider-Gentleman replied to JulyDiaz's topic in SPONTANEANATION with Paul F. Tompkins
Haha i loved all the recapping in this episode. It's always an extra layer of funny when the improvisors are struggling to keep up with what's supposed to be going on. -
Episode 106 - A Parallel Universe (w/ Tim Baltz, Mandell Maughan, Tawny Newsome, Drew Tarver)
The Spider-Gentleman replied to JulyDiaz's topic in SPONTANEANATION with Paul F. Tompkins
"The sun is going to destroy us" WHAT?! -
Damn i wanted to hear Scott's in-depth thoughts on the Annhilation saga! I loved the "Beast's first appearence" bit too. CBB and Marvel comics overlap makes me so happy.

He's a cold blooded killer.

Episode 474 - Liquid Meal Spheres
The Spider-Gentleman replied to DaltonMaltz's topic in Comedy Bang Bang
I loved the New no-no's today, my favourite in a while. Part of the charm is how much Scott enjoys it. I like Paul Rust. -
Episode 103 - The Break Room Of A Very Busy Quiznos (w/ Dave Holmes, Jean Villepique, Amanda Lund, Zeke Nicholson)
The Spider-Gentleman replied to JulyDiaz's topic in SPONTANEANATION with Paul F. Tompkins
103 episodes of Spontaneanation have all been leading to this, Jean Villepique playing a world's fair coordinator on a date with a cockroach. As a British person who is mildly religious (though not Christian) i found the interview segment fascinating and funny. But mostly i'm looking forward to Talkin' about birds, Paul's new podcast. -
Episode 101 - Burmese Therapist Office: Live from SF SketchFest (w/ Busy Philipps, Eugene Cordero, Tawny Newsome, Little Janet Varney)
The Spider-Gentleman replied to JulyDiaz's topic in SPONTANEANATION with Paul F. Tompkins
Loved it. Especially fun improv at the firestation. I felt as though there was quite a bit of visual stuff this time but i loved it nonetheless. I can't remember, when Phil Lamarr was a guest did he take part in the improv? And if so, did he press the yellow button and go back to the past? I need to relisten to that ep. With Samurai Jack coming back these are things that i need to know. -
Young Pope, time to get old!

This episode was fantastic. I love Will Hines too, i can think of only a few CBB guests who make me laugh as much. Definitely in my top 4 CBB regulars. Edit: Nice plugs theme also, enjoyed it.
