  1. It's been awhile since I've watched Female Trouble, and it still has the power to get to me. Rarely do I feel genuine disgust, intrigue, and joy all in the same movie. Honestly, I can get behind putting Waters' filmography from Pink Flamingos to Serial Mom into the Canon. Also, Mink Stole is amazing. So, an easy "Yes" for Female Trouble.

  2. A hardy yay! Ha Ha! As was the case with others in our Merry Canon Crew, this was my first time viewing of The Adventures of Robin Hood. I didn't have any interest going in because I felt the Disney cartoon and Men In Tights were the only versions of Robin that I needed. But, after the banquet scene I can admit I was wrong.

My stray observations: I can't get over the use of that deer, the moments with Bess and Much, Erroll Flynn's stunts and pretty much all the action in general. Way more murder than I was expecting.

This is why the podcast continues to be my favorite, I get to give films a chance I normally wouldn't and am always pleasantly surprised.

  3. Yes. I thought it was beautiful to look at and interesting on more levels than I'm used to in a film. Having said that, I'm at a crossroads on whether or not to do research before watching the film/films of the week. On the one hand, I like going in completely blind and being pleasantly surprised or disappointed. But, on the other, I would be more prepared for, well you know.
