  1. Amy and I look at this forum a lot, and we definitely keep your suggestions in mind. Here are some guidelines to make your suggestions more helpful for us: - We prefer to do episodes about movies that are available online legally. This is because we want our listeners to have a chance to easily see the movies without spending an arm and a leg. Including a link to where the movie is legally available - Netflix, Hulu, Amazon streaming - is very helpful. - We probably won't do movies from the last five years, unless they're astonishing masterworks. - Yes, we know we need to do more foreign films. We are trying to balance building the listenership (it continues to grow) with covering more less mainstream fare.

    Episode #91: LABYRINTH

And Amy has sent me lists of movies and I have picked one. This isn't some kind of conspiracy to keep your favorite movies out of the Canon or to keep it all boy movies.

    Episode #91: LABYRINTH

I think you're jumping to a lot of conclusions about how we pick movies for this show.

    Homework: Labyrinth (1986)

It means most podcast listeners are in their 20s and 30s and most podcast listeners like to download episodes that are about movies they know and they have an affection for movies from the 80s.

Richard Lester's film not only changed the language of pop cinema and created music videos, it showcases The Beatles at their most irreverent. But does it belong in the Canon?
  22. It's Audrey Hepburn at her most iconic this week as we discuss BREAKFAST AT TIFFANY'S. Is this romantic comedy canonical or is a trifle to be discarded at the end of the night? Your call!
