Avengers and most marvel movies are generally all of these things to me. Hard no, I'd rather watch paint dry. Calling these films a "cinematic" universe is a kind euphemism in my opinion.

Shakespeare in Love, no thank you -
Episode 99 - Sign o' the Times vs. Stop Making Sense

Assuming I'm alone here but I would like to have more Armond White in future episodes. With the caveat that another guest is also invited who vehemently disagrees with White. The problem here was a lack of disagreement; though I'm all for that but it seems like a missed opportunity with the contrarian White as a guest. I didn't think there was much "mansplaining" in this discussion of these concert films and saying so is a discredit to Amy who held her own. I vote for Stop making sense and look forward to more episodes -

Amy, thanks for the note, I was sad to hear about all that of this for many reasons. I remember on several occasions in the past few months that Devin said he was trying to be a better person and it seemed really genuine; I hope that continues and this doesn't derail his growth. I've been listening since the beginning (except for the handful of episodes I've been saving on films I haven't caught up with yet) and I already miss the podcast. The best part is the discussions with the family of listeners on these forums sparked from from your debates but honestly, the thing I love most about the show is the wonderful rapport between the hosts. I'll support the show going forward whatever direction you choose to go though I'd be remiss if I didn't say it wouldn't be the same without you both. Thanks for bringing me joy and entertainment every week the past few years.

Star Trek just isn't my thing, never got into it. Maybe that's unfair for a no vote but that's what I did. I agree with Amy saying that as a movie on its own, without the Star Trek franchise, it would be a definitive no.

Enjoyed this episode a lot. The choice would be incredibly difficult if I didn't just go with the emotional choice of Boogie Nights. I also love TWBB and it is probably better; maybe if I'd have rewatched it a little more recently I would have voted differently.

I prefer batman, it's just more fun. Goofy at times and it knows it
