I watched it recently. It's hot garbage. Luckily, these entries don't hurt my opinion of Carpenter's career. He has enough good that I'll forgive the huge turds.

This is disappointing. I didn't expect much from Will Ferrell, but John C. Reilly is one of my favorites. Add in Lauren Lapkus (though I have no idea how big her part is), and I thought it would at least be decent. Doesn't sound like that's the case. This movie appears to be one that both critics and laypeople agree on. It's been deemed a steaming turd by both.

Agreed. Nothing terribly original, but it was well done. My biggest gripe is how long the movie felt. Just a shade under two hours, but it felt like a long haul.

Having two kids under 10 definitely led to some of the movies on this list. Probably wouldn't have seen Bumblebee, Incredibles 2 or Grinch otherwise. I almost didn't add it to my list, but I wanted to get to 10! If I were to throw another on the list, I guess I could add The Christmas Chronicles (again because of kids). It would be ahead of The Grinch, mostly because of Kurt Russell being Kurt Russell.

I had to add it to the list because I couldn't think of any other 2018 releases that I had seen! I spent most of the year watching series or older movies (in some cases stuff that I had seen before). It's not terrible, but it's not good either. It adds nothing to the original other than Cindy Loo's mom is a single, working mother. It also has Kenan Thompson doing a pretty good voice. Otherwise, it's largely forgettable.

Are you out of your fucking mind? This is one of the best films of the 80's. It's pretty absurd, but it's an awesome movie.

I admittedly didn't watch many actual new films this year, (I usually watch films that are older and am typically a couple years behind on new fimls) but here's some of the tops from my list. I have kids, which explains a couple entries. I'm a Venom fan. I'm a Tom Hardy fan. I had high hopes. Then I saw Sony was in charge and knew this would be doomed. Also, they should have gone for an R rating like Logan and Deadpool. I've seen this movie called pretty good, a complete disaster, and unintentionally funny. It sounds like madness. The caliber of people involved with this film is astounding...Tom Hardy, Michelle Williams, Riz Ahmed, Ruben Fleischer (director), Scott Rosenberg (writer). I had never heard of A Night in Heaven before. This movie sounds ridiculous and should spur some good insight from Jason. But guys, I really want a couple other 80's gems...Ice Pirates (Robert Urich, 1984) and The Island (Michael Caine, 1980).

I haven't seen this film, but isn't the basic premise pretty close to JCVD's "Sudden Death"? Just swap hockey and soccer.

I saw something comparing this to The Room. I don't know if that's a vote for or against this being on the show.

Guys, I checked into bus routes, and it's starting to look really difficult to get from NYC to Machu Picchu. You can go from NYC to Mexico, but that's where it starts to get tricky. "When you reach the Mexican border, all passengers need to get off the bus and collect all their belongings, including checked baggage. On the Beast's design... In his role as Hunter, Pettyfer's appearance was altered with heavy makeup and prosthetics. Hunter's appearance differs from the description in the novel; he has no fur or fangs. Pettyfer was pleased with the revision; he said, "I was very happy to know I wasn't going to be furry. Question is, were you happy I wasn't furry? Well, I think the audience will be happy. This beast make-up is phenomenal. You're talking to someone who is a fanatic about it [prosthetics and movie make-up] and I've never seen anything that looks remotely similar to this."

I stumbled across the Earwolf page on Reddit somehow when I was searching for something on the Google. (Is it weird that I just found out about Reddit? What a shitshow.) Someone posted about the 200th episode coming up and it also made me wonder if Paul will have something big. Maybe something highly demanded? Maybe an all stars of all stars cast? (St. Clair, Nick Kroll and Mary Holland please!) Maybe Jason finally joins Twitter? Anyone hoping for a big celebration? Because CBB usually gets something special for the milestone episodes, I'm hoping this one will be epic, too.

I do not follow them on IG. The Meg sounds like a great choice for the show. I'm excited to see who the guests are for that one!

Bumping this hidden gem from 1989. I just watched it over the weekend, and might give it a second viewing to try and figure out what the hell is going on. Mix Terminator with Highlander, and you've got Warlock. This is worth covering for the not-special special effects alone. I feel like I recommended this before, but maybe not. It's a Nic Cagiac production, so maybe Paul will want to steer clear after their recent collaboration. Sir Nicolas Cage stars as a WWII Navy Captain in a film that's based on a true story...a true story, of survival. "Nic Cage, Tom Sizemore and Tom Jane star in the harrowing tale of real life American heroes shipwrecked in shark infested waters in the waning days of World War II." That's right. And yes, it also includes Sizemore, Jane, James Remar. That's not enough? Well, how about the fact that it was directed by Mario Van Peebles? Still not sold? How about 9% on Rotten Tomatoes? No? Tough crowd. My last shot...$740k box office on a $40M budget!!! The risk here is that Cage doesn't go full Cage. Or maybe that's enough to warrant consideration.
