I like Andrea Savage, but she didn't do it for me on this one. Cameron Esposito is amazing. I think having her and Rhea Butcher on together would be awesome. They did a CBB episode last fall and it's still one of my favorites. I would like to hear Karen back again. I think she was really fun on the episode. I had never heard/heard of her podcast before, but this will get me to check it out!

Agreed, but it would keep these separate from the general forum. If you do all the films, that's a lot more threads. Going to a Subform would be awesome because I think they'd be fun to read through! It would be one spot, and to avoid confusion, you could always have a starting post stating: "These are fan discussions only, and not endorsed by HDTGM. We're a bunch of nerds doing our own simulcast and we are in no way competing with June, Paul and Jason." I say this as more of a spectator rather than someone who will actively participate, but thought it might be worth considering!

If this takes off and becomes a regular thing, you should try and get it put in as a Subforum just like the recommendations!

Judy Greer is way underrated as a comedian and actress. My first exposure to her was as Kitty in Arrested Development, so that's what I'll always associate her with, but she's done so much more.

With summer winding down, something about the Wicker Man feels right. Maybe it's because I was just on an intramural team that I named "Not the bees!", or maybe it's just the feeling of the changing season. I think live-posting on this one sounds like fun. I'm just not sure if it's streaming anywhere at present other than on YouTube for $2.99. Road House is always acceptable in my book, so I'll throw that out as a secondary choice. Also, I fully support Sleepaway Camp for October. The full film is still on YouTube, where I saw it months ago.

Great point on June's comment about "unless you want to", which is kind of why I mentioned the stars of Hard Ticket being former Playboy (I think) models. I'm glad she added that to her statements on Chopping Mall. I unfortunately haven't seen much from Ninja Terminator other than the Garfield phone. By its description, I would have never guessed it's got any feminist quality!

Interesting timing on the follow-up episode. I haven't seen the film yet, but it sounds like Hard Ticket to Hawaii has a fair amount of nudity. Maybe it's a little different because the actresses made their earlier careers off of being naked, though that's not to say sexism is ok in this instance. Also, hopefully the guys putting this film together weren't as lecherous as the clown from Chopping Mall.

The real sick part of "Two Girls, One Cup" is that those poor young ladies only had one cup in the house.

I just recalled this film recently. I think it would be a fine choice for the crew. No ninjas, no lady exploitation (that I recall). Just feast your eyes on these gifs. They should help sell it as a great one for HDTGM.
