Episode 143 - Showrunners Panel, Our Major Event

That's pretty good, and not to steal your idea or anything, here's my pick. It's punk, it's primal and pretty much without any real instruments. Very avant-garde. That's just me though. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X7AB4lNqApg

We hear you. I don't know if this is a shtick, but judging from your language you're in some pretty dark territory either way and I'm starting to kind of worry. Call up someone you know or call a hotline, it doesn't matter. Even a bottle of booze is a better conversation partner than these forums. Just talk to someone, man.

I saw your like in that vile context and then you made a Green Day reference and I was like - that can't be the same guy, no douche or dickbag-kind-of-guy would like Green Day or even know about them, let alone use a reference to them to execute such a beautiful aikido-like verbal redirection of aggression. I mean, it just didn't fucking compute.

Man, I gotta switch to bleach to comprehend this. Or maybe it's written in code where the first letter of each sentence spells out something, like "I am nice. Give me hugs." Well, only bleach can tell.

Yeah, like @thejjar was saying, Brett totally ruled this episode. And with that spoiler thing... he just went off the book, he really went for it. Total laugh-cannon that guy. I have a question, and I am honestly looking for an answer, who knew Brett could be that funny? Because I wanna know your predictions about the Riolympics. rofl. PS: the real meaning and intent behind words can be a tricky thing to register for some people on the internet, -and I know you have your gripes with words, Brett, especially the written english ones,- so let me assure you there is almost no sarcasm here. The spoiler line was solid and imvho even has catchphrase potential. Love, Hairdude

A humble introduction to the HH Classics

Remind me again, RanRan, which episodes were you on again? Because I seem to recall you popping up here and there, maybe through a telephone?, on an episode that is prominently absent from my list. That must have hurt. The point is, it's my fault, I was drunk, just plain wasted - and wrong - and it will never happen again. And, naturally I understand if you want to report me to the admins or call Adam Sachs. Just please don't tell Sean or Hayes, or I'll be finished in this town. I am at your mercy. If I am misremembering you being on an episode please tell Adam Sachs to delete this post.

Now, this is why I registered on the forums. As a sidenote, who's the little hottie next to the Indian butler and the stern-dad-clipart?

Yeah, so how about those ladies being all badass in the new Ghostbusters 2016 reboot? Who knew they could be that funny. I mean, I knew they could be funny, but I didn't know they could be hilarious! How about the original Hollywoodman - John Wayne Gacy? Or that surferguy maybe.

Miller and Mantzoukis, I can second that. I'd also like someone who isn't stand up to the boys and show them what's what. Maybe even someone who doesn't know what is going on, like an Adam Pally, or a Daniel Ellsberg, if you remember. As kind of a Hail Mary maybe an Andy Daly as the Mayor of Tinseltown aka Hollywood. And definitely Sean Conroy.

A humble introduction to the HH Classics

Hello and watupwatup to a podcast that truly doesn't need an introduction. Hollywood Handbook is a podcast that features 2 of Hollywood's most beloved actors/writers/producers/storytellers having mostly conversations about their craft, the big city of Hollywood, that's really just a small town, and, really, about us. And them. And maybe even about certain carpets in certain hallways. --Hey you!, long-time-listener!, you weren't supposed to be here and read this! Oh, ok, come in and stay and warm yourself on these sweet precious memories. For you, and all the new guys and gals, I have compiled my thoughts into a kind of sacred list, a list of episodes that stuck and still stick with me after listening to them once or twice. You might say the list itself is "sticky"... but don't be afraid, or grossed out - just come in, put your gloves on, and cool yourself off with these cool Hollywood Handbook episodes! 004 Pally 055 Duke 066 PFT 073 Gilmore Boys 074 Kumail 085 Hines 098 John Cochran (SCARY WARNING) 107 Brandon Content 115 Pierson, Morris 116 Casey, Dierkes, Rogers So I hope you're satisfied and are still sitting or lying down comfortably where you were before. Listening on the go is for gophers, am I right? As a long time lurker I wanted to give something back, in my own very humble way, to the community who provided me with so many nice posts. I hope it wasn't too long or too short, so let me know what you think and why don't you man up and do it on the forums. So long, Hairdude
